Phillip Dutton Summer Camp Giveaway Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes")
starts on 2/21/13 and ends on 4/28/13 ("Promotion Period"). Must be 18 or older to enter or have a guardian who is 18 or older and who can accompany a minor Winner, and must be at Beginner Novice Level or above in Eventing. PRIZE: 1 Week of Summer Camp Training and lodging for Winner and one (1) Horse at Phillip Dutton's True Prospect Farm in West Grove, PA from 6/15-6/21/13. Winner must provide horse and groom/assistant and will be responsible for all travel costs, including meals, for Winner and accompanying parties. Winner is responsible for the care of his or her horse (Approximate Retail Value $1,200). No cash or other value will be substituted and no other dates may be substituted. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Limit one prize per person/household.
DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted on or about 5/1/13 from among all eligible entries received and potential winner will be notified by phone and mail.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States who have internet access prior to the first date of the Promotion Period or who attend one of the events listed above. Entrants must be 18 years or older as of the date of the Sweepstakes or have a guardian who is 18 years or older and can attend the camp with them. Void where prohibited by law. Employees and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates, including but not limited to employees and affiliates of Phillip Dutton and True Prospect Farm, as well as their respective parent subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, participating retailers, promotion and advertising agencies and members of their immediate family, IRS dependents, and persons living in the same household of such employees are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.
GENERAL: Federal, state and local taxes on prize, and all expenses relating to acceptance and use of prize, are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. By participating, each entrant agrees: (a) to abide by these rules and decisions of Sponsor which shall be final in all respects relating to this Sweepstakes; (b) to release, discharge and hold harmless Sponsor, Phillip Dutton and True Prospect Farm, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, participating retailers and advertising and promotion agencies, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives (collectively, "Released Parties") from any and all injuries whether to Winner or Winner's horse, liability, losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or entrant's acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize, or for any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize in this Sweepstakes; and (c) to the use of his/her or Horse's name, voice, photograph/video, image and/or likeness for programming, advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media, worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity by Sponsor and its designees, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and without prior notice, approval or inspection, and to execute specific consent to such use if asked to do so. Potential winner may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability and Publicity Release (unless prohibited by law), which must be returned within 14 days of issuance and will be required to fill out a W-9. Return of prize or requested documentation as undeliverable, or failure to return documents on a timely basis, or ineligibility or noncompliance with these Official Rules by the winner will result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend any portion of the Sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes. No prize substitution, transfer or cash redemption, except Sponsor may at its discretion substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of equal or greater value. Entries are null and void and will be rejected if not obtained in accordance with these rules and through authorized, legitimate channels, or if they are from other games or sweepstakes, if any part is counterfeited, illegible, mutilated or tampered with in any way, or if they contain or reflect printing, typographical, mechanical, seeding or other errors. Released Parties shall have no liability for entry forms, posters or any other media containing or reflecting printing or other errors. Sponsor may disqualify anyone from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that such person is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, deception or other unfair playing practices, or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor's representatives.
