Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !
So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

An employee at the Conoco at NW 112th and N. Ambassador called police early Thursday when he found what was described as a suspicious package on top of a trash container outside the station.
Inside the package was a medical cooler and a set of eyeballs. While they turned out to be pig eyes, police said they had to investigate their origin because some animals have eyeballs that appear similar to humans.
Tony Bavuso got one of the first calls from police on Thursday. He helps run the only eye bank in Kansas City just down Ambassador Road.
The eye bank deals mostly with corneas for transplants, helping almost seven people per day regain their sight.
"This was a very non-description box," said Bavuso. "It was clearly not professionally packaged."
He knew instantly it didn't match the strict medical packaging of Heartland Lions Eye Banks -- the eyes were found in a Ziploc bag in a simple plastic container.
But Bavuso is curious as to how the eyes ended up in the trash in the first place.
"Very unusual," he laughed. "Very unusual."

Lately I've been receiving other people's mail and when I brought it to the attention of one of the postal workers she said, "So you're probably wondering if others are getting your mail." I told her I win a lot of sweepstakes and sometimes I'm unaware that I've won until I receive something in the mail. I noted that the really large prizes come via FedEx and UPS, but now I see that's not always true. She said they have a new girl who needs to be re-trained (I showed her one of the pieces of mail that was correctly addressed to my neighbor, but someone had marked my house number in black sharpie at the top - looked like it was done by a post office employee - now who decided that my neighbor's name belonged with my house number?)
