Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Yeah, right. But they will not come and check it for me. Leaving shortly to get those LEDs. Sam has us completely in the dark at night now when he goes to sleep and I almost fell. Going to put little bulbs in 2 little lamps and make night lights. Have the hot water heater off. It made a BIG difference this morning in the reading. Have to do it for a few nights and then on one night and really carefully compare.

congrats
Is your meter attached to your house or is it remote... attached to a pole with underground service entrance cable to the house ?

Everything above the dormers is just empty space... it's dark, dirty from 100 years of slate dust, and a good place for the bats to shit ! I always wanted to make it into a bonus room, it's big ! maybe now with the new roof on I will (think about it). I'd have to beef up all the ceiling framing, it's not adequate to support a floor above, and the only way to get materials up there is thru an access hole I cut into one of the 3rd fl bedrooms. Basically an 18" X 24" opening.
If you make it into a fun room you can cut a bigger hole and make stairs going up. Better you use it than the bats. Bat chit is explosive!!! Amazing how something prized as a fertilizer and explosive is also valued as a make up!!! laugh out loud

How do you win at the casino????? I get the Stay and Play package and it has $25 in casino chips and I dont know how to play and sister says I cant use Popps black 18!!! Been practicing at black jack but even loose at solitaire!!! EEK! My best bet may be in selling my chips to someone who wants them!! Confused
I play roulette with the complimentary casino chips and bet on either red or black depending on what the little sign with the last 10 plus results shows. I find a low minimum bet table and if I have 2 ea $25 chips, bet one each time on two spins. If I put the chip on red and red is where the ball lands, then I win $25 (if it was my money, it doubles, with complimentary chips, you keep the $25 winning chip and the casino keeps the $25 bet). I bet one chip per spin, until the complimentary chips are gone and keep any wins (real chips paid out).
There is also an odd or even that you can put a chip on. So if you wanted to bet odd or even and black or red (using one chip for each), you could do that. The casino won't let you bet both colors or both odd and even, but you can do one of each. You could also bet on 0 or 00 or numbers (or combinations) but I'm trying to keep it easy.

From WIKI
"The pockets of the roulette wheel are numbered from 1 to 36.

In number ranges from 1 to 10 and 19 to 28, odd numbers are red and even are black. In ranges from 11 to 18 and 29 to 36, odd numbers are black and even are red."

Then there are 0 and 00. If you bet on one number and that number hits, the payoff is 36:1. I stick to the 2:1 payoffs.

I played slots today, enjoyed the free buffet, and came home with $67 more than I left home in my purse. That is much better than I usually do at the local casino.

Enjoy! Save up the coupons when they come and wait for CVS to have one of their spend $ and receive ECB's on Dove products. Then spend the ECB's on something else that you want. It stretches out the win!

I received the Nikon CoolPix L810 camera that I won in the UPS sweepstakes in December today! It was just sitting on the porch. Mom's very excited and wants me to bring "her" camera up on Mother's day. (She gets the one that I bought after Christmas in 2011).
I also "won" a $5 BP GC from RewardTV today, so it;s been a very fun day!

Good Luck to all!

Thanks. Is it better to pick one and stay with it?? If I play red stay with red using only their comp chips?? I want to cash out when their chips are used up. Hate spending my own money. I did spend $20 cash last trip but was only playing 1 cent to 10 cents each play. Sister won $200 but spent all her winnings trying to win more. Once I used up all the casino credits I cashed out. More fun to win and bring money home than to go, win and blow it all foolishly. If it was my money I would only play what I set aside to play. I understand casinos are in business to make money and the house always wins.

Hi Everyone,

Time to stick my head out of my cocoon and say hello to all you wonderful folks. This is the first time I've logged in for a very long time, so if you sent me a private message I haven't read any yet.

Tomorrow will be two months since my husband died (both full moon days). About mid-February we had driven to Chicago to stay a couple days at our youngest son's house before flying out of Midway to Ft Myers to stay with friends. The day after we got to FL, my husband didn't feel well and actually went to a doctor who treated him for a urinary infection but told him to get tests done when we got home. He never perked up and we only got back as far as Chicago to our son's house when he had a terrible attack that killed him.

I miss him very much, and now realize that he must not have felt good for a long time but ignored some of what was bothering him. Looking back, I can see why he often seemed unsettled and hard to be around at times. Sure wish God had given us the wisdom to do something about it before it was too late.

Dying out of state complicates matters a bit, so I am actually still waiting on the autopsy and the final death certificate.

If life ever settles down, I might be able to start entering more than a couple contests a week. Since the beginning of the year, I've been to Naples once, Chicago three times, Des Moines three times, and am going again soon. After that I plan to stay put for a while. I have lots of yard work to do but I plan to get someone to cut grass. That's one job I wouldn't even attempt trying to do.

I'll try to stop by again soon.

Thank-you for the congrats! I really want to win a TV-mine is a 20" color set from 1987. It does still work well and picks up the local channels with the tuner box and antenna.
The new camera will be fun! UPS contacted me to be certain that I received it since it was left without a signature. I send them back a Thank-you!

If there are people at the roulette wheel (players), then I go with what they are putting chips on for a choice, If you win, the casino employee will pick up and keep the "promo" chip and put your winning real chip on the table. PICK up your winning chip and put it in your purse or pocket! Then play with another "promo" chip, until the "promo" chips are gone.
If no one else is playing roulette, wait until later!Wink
