Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

I trust the vets more than doctors most of the time. Maybe that killed my poor kitty.

Anyway, I will not sleep tonight. Probably something stupid is coming. I am always home when ups comes but of course not today. A 7 lb. package from origin of Michigan which has to be signed for. Sender is EPI or EPS Marketing. Does anyone have a clue what sweeps that may have been? It is probably nothing to get excited over. But ups always leaves things w/out a signature. It is not the Costco Coke win because E-prize is handling that. Just have to wait to see.
I was going to post that it was the Kashi win-quite a few people posted about it in the main contest thread.

Sweet contests like you!

This is something I find hard to do, but I did see the results by accident. When the pepper plant is about 18" tall, snip the top 6" off. The plant will stay shorter, thicker, send more branches out and produce more.
Thank-you! I will try this with the banana peppers.
I HAD 6 cucumber plants growing from seed. I had put them on the back steps since the weather has been nice. Darn robin came up and pulled two of them out of the pot. I replanted the one that he left, but he came back and took a 2nd one. This is the robin that scolds me to leave after I water everything and replace the bird bath water. This is the 4th year that he has come back.

Congratulations! Nice win.

I haven't entered any contests yet today. I DID get a coupon for a free International Delights coffee creamer today and the OSU shirts that Mom and I picked out using some of the MCR wins. Moriah is ill again. 2nd day in a row and I'm not too good myself.

Good Luck to all!

they only like Sam. Camel does not like me either. I think I won only once for $15 on Camel and one Grizzly prize in all the games.
No one here has won the last two rounds on Camel or Grizzley! So disappointing!ConfusedConfused

Had my phone consult with holistic vet. This is what she thinks is the culprit: http://www.vetdepot.com/aloeclens...-8-oz.html She thinks benzoic acid (and not his food) is most likely to blame for it. My regular vet recommended this for what he believed were ear mites. After MONTHS of use, the cat is still bothered by his ears, yet none of the other cats have ear issues. When he examined my cat last week, he stuck the scope in his ear and out came some crud when the cat shook his head. My holistic vet asked if he even checked the crud under the microscope to determine if mites were the real cause; he didn't check, but told me to keep using the wash! The cat licks the wash, because it gets all over; the regular vet told me it was safe - that's what I get for not reading the label.

The holistic vet said nothing in that product kills mites and suspected he's got a food allergy which is producing excess wax. This makes sense, because he'd been licking himself bald in places for a very long time and the only thing that seemed to have lasting effects was a change in diet. Her recommendation: Merc Viv (homeopathic remedy), 1 cc olive oil in each ear, 1/4 tsp. organic aloe vera juice twice a day.

Hope this helps someone else avoid liver issues in their fur babies.
I was going to suggest olive oil or mineral oil since they are both harmless if he licks it and it can loosen the crud and help move it out They are the only 2 oils I know of that let the skin breath without clogging pores. Do NOT use the wash. It is toxic to the liver and possible the kidneys and that will make him like himself bald in spots too

I'll be buying some tomato plants this weekend. Do you recommend a certain type? I like the kind that doesn't have the white core in it but I don't know what they are called.
You mean you like the ripe ones?? I like better boys or bigger boys
