Hi all,
I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.
Everyone is welcome!
I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.
This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.
So, I hope it catches on !

6 months worth of Bananas from the Funday Monday at Dole...didn't know I had won.
I had just recently went ahead and gave my niece in Philly all my Chiquita Banana coupons cause I couldn't find them around here.......but I do know we have Dole.
Tomatoes have blossoms. I bought 2 this year to be certain that I had enough tomatoes and noticed that I have lots of "volunteers" from last year. Of course, they're tiny compared to the ones that I bought.............Down to 1 cucumber plant. Darn birds. The sweet pepper plants aren't doing much, I think that the cold has affected them more than the tomatoes (although I lost leaves on the tomatoes). Iris blossoms are forming, it's about a month early for those.

The volunteers are from the dark red/purple, sweet, low acid tomatoes last year that I couldn't find this year. I'm glad that they're coming up, but very surprised. The single volunteer from the previous year never produced many red tomatoes last year, so hopefully, the dark red/purple will do well.

Well, things are usually better when the weather is nice and stays that way for awhile.
Our weatherman said we'll be having frost then in the 80's in a matter of about 16hrs.
Just c-r-a-z-y, if ya ask me. OK, even if you didn't.
Also got a Phillips 76 "Honk Suppressor".

I'm sure hit you hard, It will take time to heal, take care of yourself
I have a lot more responsibility with taking care of things but doing more is somewhat therapeutic. I am no where near ready to leave our home. Plus, it is presently cheaper to stay here, even with paying to get the grass cut. I am getting some work done to make things better for me. I had a mini ductless air conditioner installed on the first level. It actually has heat, too. Yesterday, I had the cellar steps repaired. The landing and bottom 4 steps were extremely dangerous. Next I'm getting a new cellar door. Then, I'm getting work done on the gutters, like some replacements and the addition of leaf gards.
