Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

hugStaying busy helps. If you can afford to stay in your home and are capable of living by yourself, then by all means stay. Most of my relatives stay in their homes when their spouse died. They became even closer friends with the neighbors afterwards too. One of my Great Aunts did move, but she moved next door to my Grandmother (her sister) when that house went up for sale. The house was less expensive than her previous home so she was able to use the extra $ from her old home's sale as "rainy day" /retirement funds AND lived next door to her sister who helped her with the things that she wasn't able to do (she'd had a stroke and wasn't up to lifting heavier things.).

You may want to re-consider the leaf guards. Some of them do keep the leaves out of the gutters, but they lay on top and can weigh down the gutters or if the leaves are heavy enough, cause the water to flow off of the gutter. There was some concern about ice as well. I'm in a condo association and those are some of the reasons that were given for not having them here.
