They are reporting children were injured and they said at least two people appear to be dead This is per their reporters who where near the finish line (covering the marathon) when the explosions happened.
each time i look up at the tv, i'm seeing images that i'm used to seeing in other countries. it's crazy.

None. The small IED incidents we've suffered have all been committed by the Radical Right. Recent examples include the Spokane MLK Bomb (right-wing racist) and the Centennial Park Bombing (right-wing anti-gay, anti-abortion activist). All actual and attempted foreign terrorist bombings I can think of have been larger car bombs or "spectacular" attacks: Times Square Bomber, Shoe Bomber, LAX Bomber, Texas base shooting, 9/11, WTC Bombing, etc...

The one exception to the above was the Oklahoma City bombing.
