I work at one of the big hospitals in the city. A lot of injured people were brought in today from the bombing. Many of them were seriously hurt and we are just one of the hospitals treating the patients. This makes me so sad and angry. I hope they find the piece sh&t responsible and string them up from a light post on the common.

I'm assuming you mean that if they were putting forth efforts to increase funding for mental health care, and working on actual plans that would truly reduce crime rather than wasting time and effort debating gun control laws that will only punish law abiding citizens. If our government would actually work to improve enforcement of current laws, establish stricter punishment for violators, and maybe additional funding for law enforcement.
Now if that's what you meant, I agree completely.
If that's not what you meant, then the comment was a bit out of place.

Watching the local news right now and the news feed scrolling across the bottom said there were 5 bombs in all.

I think it's a valid point that the govt. is putting all kinds of restrictions but someone can still put together a deadly explosion using legally purchased materials ( I think )

umm maybe you should too, did they say a gun yielding citizen is going to somehow outshoot multiple bombs? think the point, that you clearly missed is, the govt should spend more effort on trying to prevent things like this instead of disarming law abiding citizens

just watch, the person/group responsible for this is prob. already on some no-fly list that "slipped through" the system
