DUKE Special Reserve Brandy Aged 24 Years
The first fact: Only two barrels of The Duke Special Reserve 24 Year Old Brandy exist in the world. The first and last release has been double distilled utilizing a French-made alambic copper pot still using seven fraction distillation, and, thus, a ten to one reduction. In other words…this is a super small production of pure bloody goodness.
The second fact: This is the first and last DUKE brandy that will ever be released. The Duke brandy rests in a black walnut box in an etched bottle. There are alreadyorders from the distributors for ten times as many bottles as we have to sell. Tasting NOTE: Monument Valley Distillers worked with a twelfth generation Master Distiller and the brandy was laid down in the 1980's. It is golden in color, ultra complex, pretty on the nose, and drinks like a 50 year old scotch, minus the peat and smoke part. The Duke Special Reserve 24 Year Old Brandy is an enchanting and wonderful a treat to anyone who loves rarities.
