I know that there are a few of you.
I have a lot of time on my hands, so I'm attempting some new things. I'm actually using patterns now, where before I just knitted whatever came about.
I'm beginning to realize that I only have small needles and I'm becoming a yarn snob.
I knitted a hat for my nephew, one for myself (no patterns), a baby-carrier (no pattern), and now I'm going to start working on some fingerless gloves.
Anyone else? Any deals on good yarn, needles, etc.?

I found a bunch of crocheted flowers if you all want to try them. They are kinda cute. The first one looks like I may be able to do it. It has step by step pics for idiots like me.

Hmmm, I'll try those knitting those flowers one of these days. I just began working on a headband last night. Im half way done.
Yea, socks are kinda scary looking to me.
I just used the 50% off Michaels coupons to buy myself a circular knitting needles set ($38) and a crochet needles set ($18) yesterday. So glad I got it half off, but it's still a little pricey for me. Before, I've only owned a size US8 and a US6. I've been debating for a while if I should get them, and decided that I'll probably be knitting/crocheting for the rest of my life, so might as well get all the different sizes of needles cheap instead buying them individually at an expensive price.
I have always wanted to learn to knit or crochet but I never could get the hang of it...
