I know that there are a few of you.
I have a lot of time on my hands, so I'm attempting some new things. I'm actually using patterns now, where before I just knitted whatever came about.
I'm beginning to realize that I only have small needles and I'm becoming a yarn snob.
I knitted a hat for my nephew, one for myself (no patterns), a baby-carrier (no pattern), and now I'm going to start working on some fingerless gloves.
Anyone else? Any deals on good yarn, needles, etc.?

Edit: Whoops....How did I overlook Smiley333's username??
But the same greeting to you, too, Cheergal.
Aggie, if you crochet socks I gotta see'em.
I wish I were as brave. I had a pair of socks that were store bought that dh called my mammy socks. They were just the footie kind but all ugly rainbowey colored but so so comfy. I loved them and Dh hated them. I think he "lost" one so he wouldn't have to see them again.
Thank you Smiley. Hopefully I can start to see progress this week. I have been taking alot of time off SD to try to get things done. It's Dec 1st and I still don't have my Christmas tree up yet:cry:

Now, I have a new question, does anyone here have any experience with ( or a software or website for) designing knitting patterns? I need a hooded baby blanket pattern, for knitting only ( I don't crochet yet) I need it to be simple, but I need to customize it a little bit with stripes and some little extras.

I never had any doubts that one of you would be able to find it.
If I ever get all of my other projects done I think I am going to try to crochet one for the dd from all of my scrap yarns. It'd make a cute Christmas present if I can figure it out.
