It's not even summer yet and we have a triple digit heat index! It's like breathing steam when you go outside. I think I will become a vampire and only go out at night!

That cute little city near Death Valley and the Mojave desert.
It still boggles my mind that someone came through here when it was undeveloped and thought... this is a great place to build a city.
I suppose if one lived near Lake Mead it made sense.

The salmon works well in the pan because the skin is still on, which keeps it from drying out in the pan while you cook it half way through. I would guess the marinade would help keep the salmon from drying out too, so couldn't hurt to try it.
