LOL ohio state is garbage the National Championship should be FSU vs Auburn

31 10 December 2, 2013 at 09:56 AM in Chat
Lets be honest nobody wants to see Ohio State get crushed in the national championship after barely escaping their super easy schedule. Atleast FSU dominated their schedule they need to face a battle tested Auburn team which would be a epic game.

Seems to be an awfully big thing to TS. He's bringing it up all the time. Nobody else even mentions it until he starts his whining.
Wait? ALL of time? Once in this thread and where else? And all that was picking on your sorry ass. You must be jealous.

You are delusional.

I'd like to hear your definition of whining. I thought I was gloating.

Top 8 would be a good step in the right direction. However, as basketball has shown, the top 16 could easily be contenders... The big flaw in the top 8 scenario is the ranking system to begin with. I do not follow College Football but I do watch a game every once in awhile. Last weekend I watched as a #6 (OSU) absolutely destroyed a #9 (Baylor) who clearly did not deserve the ranking. Yet Baylor would have been a contender for the #8 spot in an 8 team playoff...
But even in men's college ball, only the top 10 seeds usually win it all. The lowest seed ever to win was Villanova vs Georgetown way back then in 85 and they were a "lowly" 8th seed.

All of the time as in every time me and you have ever went back and forth. I guess it's been several years since that since your chest thumping BS has been put on hold. It's one of your "go to" talking points as to how many NC's Bama has. Ask ALVS, she will tell you the same thing.
Another was, "that we all think the BAHR(as you put it) was still alive" or some BS when you the only one even mention the name.
What is you were gloating about? You said I was counting this year as another NC for Bama and probably about to start in on your soapbox whining about how many we got.

You can Google whining and gloating, you definitely need to.

*****cliffsnotes for TS...We got 15. You jealous.

Well, which was it? Did you "hang with Bama" or "let them stay in the game"? Big difference. I agree Bama was out coached to let a one dimensional team run on you like they did. Having a choke kicker and an extra week to plan like auburn had helps too, as we found out in 2010 when 6 SEC teams had bye weeks the week before playing Bama.

Nice of auburn to allow two Georgia players to run together and win on another fluke play.

No, I'm not a sore loser. My problem is with A-holes like you that just can't be gracious winners. You gotta spew your BS every time your team does anything remotely positive. Where were you and your BS the past two years? I'll take Bama's 49-0 beatdown last year any day of the week over winning on fluke plays two games in a row. We let auburn stay in the game right up until kick-off the last two years.
Wow. Bitter much?

Quote from UncleJace :
If i was an auburn fan I would quit hatin and enjoy this MIRACLE season. I'm pulling for em
I don't think it was a "miracle" at all. They have some great players this year and an awesome coach. Lots of underdog teams get a better coach and make a comeback.

They got "lucky" in the Georgia game, but the Iron Bowl? They worked hard to win that one. Bama didn't give them that game and there was no miracle.

Bama fans love bama football. Auburn fans love Auburn. You'll never understand the difference.
This.

What strikes me as really bizarre is that I have only met ONE Bama fan that actually attended the university, and yet, most are like rabid pitbulls when it comes to football. Very few have that same commitment to Bama's other athletics and never rave about the academics of the university unless it's to babble about spitting out a few medical grads to UAB. (I've been a patient at UAB and it suuuuucks!!!)

I have met tons of Auburn fans and most actually went there. They not only support football, they are very encouraging about other Auburn sports AND the academics. The city of Auburn is beautiful and has been ranked as one of the best places to live. The people are nice ... everywhere. Even at Walmart. It's mind-boggling. I've been to Tuscaloosa MANY times and found most of the people to be rude (not all, but most). Tuscaloosa is dirty and small-minded.

And take it from someone that isn't even a big fan of football, watching that eagle stretch its wings and fly over Jordan-Hare stadium will give you goosebumps. (80,000 fans can't be wrong.) Aubie, the tiger mascot, is AMAZING and knows how to work a crowd. I'm sorry but Big Al brings nothing to the table as far as mascots go. Bama has a GREAT bunch of football players and they deserve better than a freakin' goofy-looking elephant.

TS is right, Auburn fans love Auburn. Even when they have a bad season. Not game ... season. You can't say that about (most) Bama fans. Just look how they are treating Cade Foster.

Seriously???

Cade actually received a lot of support from our fans after those morons harassed him. That upset a lot of people that I know, but I'm a alum so maybe that's why. It sickened me that those people did that to him, and imho they're not true fans. The true fans love and support BAMA winning or losing.

I'm not sure why any BAMA alum would be talking about uab. BAMA has good business and law schools.

I also think both Auburn and Alabama are football schools. Sorry but football is what most of your fans really care about too.

And Big Al is really, really adorable. Love him!

Yea by top 16 I meant top 16 as in seeds 1-4. You could technically argue for top 32 or seeds 1-8 as the only teams that will ever win... For football I don't see anything above 32 teams being feasible. 16 is probably the max IMO.

Actually that is even beyond funny. It is kind of scary.

What is a puss like that going to do when he has to enter the real world and face real life problems? A group of boys gets outscored in a silly football scrimmage and it is the end of the world? Crazy
