68,603 3,764 December 13, 2013 at 07:38 AM in Grocery (2)
Nearly 3 years ago I started my journey to live a healthier and happier life.
Since 2011 I have lost nearly 90 lbs and I want to help others achieve their goals too.

Attachment 2432258

I know that New Years is a popular time to make a change and I would be honored to help you. To get you started, I will host a FREE 4 Week Clean Eating Group - I will supply everything, the shopping lists, menu, meal plan and coaching. All I ask of you is to be active in the group and support others in the group.

If you are truly serious about making 2014 your year to have more energy, lose weight, or pick up a free health habits post in this thread. Also, let me know if you have a Facebook account, I may create a private FB group and/or use this thread.

I only want those who are 100% completely serious about making a change!!!
I hope to make this grow and roll over each month.

Awesome. I need suggestions for breakfast. I usually make fruit smoothies, but I need an on-the-go option when I don't have time to make a smoothie. Looking forward to the recipes/plan!
Have you tried coconut flour anything?

I know of a few sites that would be super helpful for this on paleo and whatnot.

I'm interested too. I need to do a bit of reading up on what it's all about.

I am a picky eater as well. I eat very little meat (has to be super lean like filet which means too expensive to do lol)

I do like eggs, tuna, some times chicken, lots and lots of veggies and fruit.

And I don't do artificial sweeteners much.

Been leaning more toward them again after years away from them and migraines have been coming back.
Interesting. I'm really quite opposed to artificial sweeteners. I've read so many things that make me feel like they're just bad news all around. I'd rather eat less sweets and just have real sugar when I want it.

EDIT: HI SCHOOB!!!!!!!!!!!! hug Blowkiss

not sure how active I would be in the group participation, but if this will be an open forum thread or someplace else we can view the meal info etc. then of course many will be able to take away much needed help in areas covered.

we are so used to saying sorry for your loss, however in this case congrats on your loss OP! looking good Wink

I may try these for dessert tonight (even though my couch is soooo comfy right now). You could totally make a large batch of these and freeze them for fast breakfasts.

I'm debating on how to do it, and I may need to run things by the lounge mods to make sure I'm not breaking the rules.

I was thinking of PMing or emailing the files for each week and having an on going thread here in the Lounge.
It's going to take me an hour or 2 to put everything into a document and I don't mind helping people that want my support, but I don't want my hard work to be used & abused by freeloaders. :dontkknow:

I'd like to try. My eating habits are almost identical to DC's above and I'm super picky. I started running again in June and have lost about 30 lbs, but I'm kind of stagnating and I'm pretty sure it's my diet. I need more, healthier calories but I have 0 imagination.
I'd be happy to give running advice in exchange.

Oh I want running advice! Well... not sure I actually do... but I suck at running and always injure myself. For instance I was training for one of those mud obstacle races and my calves would cramp up and I couldnt actually train at all. Then on thanksgiving I decided to just go ahead and run a 5K to be like all the cool kids and my IT bands have been tight as hell since. I am almost convinced it is psychological and that my head is just saying "dont run, go lift more" Stick Out Tongue

So are you like, uh, training? Or just deciding to go run races. Because that could be some easy starter advice right there.

laugh out loud

Well at first I thought "oh it would be cool to do one of those obstacle races" and then a couple months later I got "oh we signed you up for savage race in october" so I had a month to "train".

Since I did so poorly I want to do it again and actually have a respectable time, so I would like to train for real... but I kind of hate running... Anyway, so yeah, I need to train, and I was doing good a mile here and there on the treadmill, but 3.1 in the cold has me kind of lame now.

I don't want to turn this into a running thread, so I'll just say that yeah, you need a schedule and more than a month. If we all do this thing than I will definitely be available for that kind of stuff to supplement KelBe's coaching. If you're looking to start now, PM me and I'll see what I can do.

Those things are no joke! They are kinda on my bucket list too.
I do know of a few endurance training schedules that can help. Feel free to PM me for more info.

Yes we have done coconut flour and almond flour. But my biggest obstacle is what to make for breakfast, because I don't eat eggs. Eating a smoothie now (drool) but I don't always have time to make them.

Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of chopped nuts is good.
Or 1/2 serving of oatmeal with 1/2 scoop of protein powder, 1/2 c berries (fresh or frozen) and 1 tablespoon chopped nuts.

Those are my non-egg favorites.
