68,603 3,764 December 13, 2013 at 07:38 AM in Grocery (2)
Nearly 3 years ago I started my journey to live a healthier and happier life.
Since 2011 I have lost nearly 90 lbs and I want to help others achieve their goals too.

Attachment 2432258

I know that New Years is a popular time to make a change and I would be honored to help you. To get you started, I will host a FREE 4 Week Clean Eating Group - I will supply everything, the shopping lists, menu, meal plan and coaching. All I ask of you is to be active in the group and support others in the group.

If you are truly serious about making 2014 your year to have more energy, lose weight, or pick up a free health habits post in this thread. Also, let me know if you have a Facebook account, I may create a private FB group and/or use this thread.

I only want those who are 100% completely serious about making a change!!!
I hope to make this grow and roll over each month.

I use ziplock bags to put the Food Sealer bags into, and label those, and simply reuse them, as they don't get dirty or contaminated by anything. I simply cross out the date and re-date them; as the same thing goes back into the same ziplock; steaks, hamburger, sausage, pork, etc. I have a good system going; plus in the freezer itself; shelves are regulated to each particular item; the door stores things like butter and other items.
Interesting idea. I may try something like that.

We used to have the freezer in the garage...but spinning the meter...got $$$ so we finally got rid of it.
Chest freezer is the way to go. I didn't notice much change in my bill.

I have a stand up freezer with shelves, I figured I didn't want to be digging in a chest freezer. I find it way more convenient with the stand up freezer; but that's just me.

I can see the value in that, as the cold doesn't seep out when you open the door.

As Picca says, you do have the dig around issue, but hey, if you put full bodies in there, they come out in one piece ! Roll

Take out the shelves and a full body will fit in mine; and once frozen it will fit nicely in the trunk of my Lincoln; then the Pine Barrens in NJ are so barren and deserted for a nice disposal - it's a win/win thing I got going Woot Just use those huge Contractor bags nod

Awww... you are wasting so much time and energy not to mention getting dead guy all up in your freezer... If you lived down here (Georgia) you could pick a dozen swamps and weigh that sucker down and have that guy turtle food in no time!

Wait... is this OT?

whoops... sorry Kel OMGheart

It's not time yet for the Group to start Smilie Yes, we are starting Sunday January 5th 2014.
The ocean is not that much further from the Pine Barrens; one may travel through them to get to the shore/ocean - easy disposal there as well - or simply take the body down by boat bulb go far enough out into the ocean - weigh it down - and there ya go Wink

Buy a Food Sealer and bags - food seal your veggies to keep them fresh and/or frozen so you can eat them at your convenience or boil them in the bags - also good for sealing just about anything - and they sell containers with a sealer pump - to seal out air from those as well - great for things you want in a jar type container. You would be amazed at how much longer your veggies last this way nod

So I modified my breakfast run today...usually it's a Cinnamon raisin Bagel and 4 eggs to the "Power Breakfast Egg Bowl w/Roasted Turkey. Baby Spinish, Roasted pepers, basil pesto. S&P" I went whole eggs (instead of egg whites which is the stock choice)

Wasn't too bad actually. So I cut some carbs and ate a bit better too.

Colorado will be buying them up laugh out loud

The breakfast bowl sounds yummy.I have a problem eating breakfast so today instead of just coffee for breakfast I had a raw meal shake from Garden of Life. The taste is definitely not the best but it gave me a bunch of energy so that's good.I just cant eat first thing in the morning so shakes work well for me.I used to make my own shakes with greek yogurt, chia seeds, frozen fruit, and whatever else I felt like throwing in for breakfast but I get up really early in the morning most days and I don't want to wake everyone up with the blender.
