January 2014 Healthy Eating Group Invitation - No OT

68,603 3,764 December 13, 2013 at 07:38 AM in Grocery (2)
Nearly 3 years ago I started my journey to live a healthier and happier life.
Since 2011 I have lost nearly 90 lbs and I want to help others achieve their goals too.

Attachment 2432258

I know that New Years is a popular time to make a change and I would be honored to help you. To get you started, I will host a FREE 4 Week Clean Eating Group - I will supply everything, the shopping lists, menu, meal plan and coaching. All I ask of you is to be active in the group and support others in the group.

If you are truly serious about making 2014 your year to have more energy, lose weight, or pick up a free health habits post in this thread. Also, let me know if you have a Facebook account, I may create a private FB group and/or use this thread.

I only want those who are 100% completely serious about making a change!!!
I hope to make this grow and roll over each month.

The breakfast bowl sounds yummy.I have a problem eating breakfast so today instead of just coffee for breakfast I had a raw meal shake from Garden of Life. The taste is definitely not the best but it gave me a bunch of energy so that's good.I just cant eat first thing in the morning so shakes work well for me.I used to make my own shakes with greek yogurt, chia seeds, frozen fruit, and whatever else I felt like throwing in for breakfast but I get up really early in the morning most days and I don't want to wake everyone up with the blender.
I'm like you, I would need to be up for about 3 hours before I could even think about eating anything; just iced tea in the morning for me. So this should be interesting especially after being weighed at the doctor the other day Facepalm But I'm told I'm not over weight and finally putting on weight is good for me and healthy for me. Tell that to my denim jeans Annoyed

Almonds are far better for you.

This is in hot deals right now, sort of ties in. I am going to look into this:
https://slickdeals.net/f/6604392-healthywage-bet-100-to-lose-10-of-weight-in-6-months-and-win-money?v=1&src=tdw

Edit:
A quick run on the link with a $5/month bet got me this:
Quote :
Total payout. If you win, you'll gain
$81.56
- that's a
27.19%
return on investment in just
6
months!
I am wondering what changing plan and reason options does...

Interesting idea on the wagering, but I don't think I'll put any money up in that way.

I did that last year.I got disqualified for forgetting to post my weight at the right time, I think I missed it two times. At the beginning it was easy to remember to log in but as time went on sure enough I forgot.Lost my money, although I knew the possibility of that going in. If you do it just remember to track. I do believe that was the worst slickdeal I have ever participated inlaugh out loud.Only have myself to blame though...

I didn't see if anyone mentioned this, but some studies are starting to show that there isn't much corrolation between obesity and skipping breakfast. Some mornings I'm just not hungry and I may not eat until 10 or noon. As long as you are not taking more calories than you are OK.
