I'd imagine they've done the cost benefit analysis on this. Probably cheaper to give someone 5k than to pay severance and unemployment benefits after firing. But I'm no HR expert.

They're a bunch of f***ing whiners ... I don't get paid while I sit in traffic, not sure why they're expected to get paid while standing in line at a security checkpoint at their job. I'd imagine Amazon could do something about it, like add more lines or something, but they need to get a grip on reality.

If I had the computer skills to do what he does I surely would, but I don't. Plus I have found items that I was watching and the price drops in the middle of the night and he posts it and it's gone. that's messed up....I did one click (on one order through, ended up with 2 in history) but from 2 sellers, not AWD at $24X range. Cancelled but still annoying
