Even better - this weekend I quietly grabbed an iPad Air - AT&T version for about $400. Used a gift card to knock it down further. 128GB version. I can't wait for it to come tomorrow so I can slap a TMO sim card in it and do it big

I didn't do the return one. I know for sure I returned that $300 thing there. I knew I spent a lot but damn $17k lol....retail value was $111k OMG

This whole discussion about Amazon workplace ethos is very interesting. I believe its a combination of a harsh totalitarian mindset, in a very harsh economy where good jobs are being fought over by far too many qualified applicants, and a younger generation who expects to be CEO in 3 years, and be coddled and overvalued, just like their helicopter parents did for them their whole lives. Share holders love to see this, so should help Amazons stock price greatly. A company without profit, and rising share prices. worship

You can return them for free if you feel they were not accurately described. You can also try chatting with them to let them know they were not accurately described. If it's true, as a shareholder, I would not want to invest in a company that treats it's employees this way. Not only for moral reasons, but because it's simply bad business. As a customer, as much as I love Amazon, if true I will spend my $$ elsewhere.

If you get banned, you can let me know. Until then... I have a friend who worked there who said it's all BS. Again, if you abuse it, you can get banned from anywhere. You won't get banned for complaining when they screw up.
