Haul-Master - item#90154 - 1195 lb. Capacity Heavy Duty Folding Utility Trailer, 48 in. x 96 in.

$399.99 regular, On sale for $299.99
Use coupon code 13276113 in-store(good on-line too) for 25% OFF ANY ONE ITEM.

Total is $224.99 + Tax

240 bucks for a 4x8 decent little trailer that most crossover SUV's these days could pull, Requires assembly, but with another 60 in lumber and it'd be hard to find a heavily used one on craigslist for that cheap. Comes with title, just purchased one at my local HF.

if its more cost effective and worth your time you can have it shipped.
Well, the shipping quote says $96.94....so it's cheaper to pick it up even if I have to bring my truck, but it's about thirty of forty bucks cheaper to pick it up in the car vs the truck

This is how much I paid for from CL. Only it was already assembled and came with plywood flooring.

It was brand new assembled from the box never used before
When i put min3 together i remember reading that it was "absolutely mandatory" to repack with a quality grease.

This worked at my store! I went in, regular price was $399.99, sale price was $299.99, I gave the cashier the 25% off coupon code, saving me another $75.00.

Can anyone confirm pickup dimensions? Trying to determine whether this will fit in my Yaris or if I'll have to bring my truck. I've got to drive 200 miles today and I'd rather do it at 40mpg than 12mpg if possible.
I don't know the dimensions but we fit it in our Dodge Grand Caravan. It was in 2 separate boxes, but one of them is really long.

While I like my folding trailer, I often wonder how much money I saved. By the time one buys a folding ramp and some wood to make a platform, I look at those sitting in the Lowes parking lot and wonder.
Had to comment. I have purchased 3 of these folding Harbor Freight trailers over the years. Though they worked surprisingly well, by the time you run around to all the different hardware stores picking everything up you need, DMV hassles, and a full weekend putting it all together. Your money ahead just buying pre-built/assembled. And if you tow more then once a month, spend the extra and go Aluminum.

My husband said it probably won't fit... one of the boxes is 6' long. The longest piece in the box is about 5' long. Hope that helps Smilie

It's been about a year since I got mine, but I would say no, it would not fit.

I hauled mine home in a 2005 Ford Escape, with the rear seats all folded down. The boxes are quite long, and so they came up towards the rear of the front seats.

You might be able to make it fit with some unboxing, and only if your rear seats fold down.

Having owned this for a year now, I will say, for the money, it is quite a nice trailer. I use it to haul mowing equipment, I have hauled a gun safe on it, washer & dryer, brush cut from the trees, etc....always done great.

Only bad part about it is that when it is unloaded (nothing on the trailer), it is quite light and bangs around a lot. It's loud going down the road. Once you get some weight on it, it's not so bad.

well a quick gander at lowes website shows the cheapest 4x8 trailer at $700... specs are comparable with the non foldable hf unit (and it does not fold up either. reviews mention rust so seems its not aluminum or galvanized.)

id take a wood base over metal. you can tie down to wood, not mesh. you can replace wood, much harder (impossible for most) with mesh.

I was about to make the same post. Even if you spend another $75 on wood/baubles to trick this out, you're coming in way below anything else I've seen. But I'd love to be proven wrong before I buy one tomorrow.

I found the same one on CL that I can get for $150. It's about 10 years old so I am not sure if I should get it or buy this one brand new. I will not use it much only for the occasional haul. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Thanks for all of the responses. I had already left the house with the car unfortunately. I might stop by to see if it's possible to buy it today and have my brother in law pick it up tomorrow. . .

just got mine, I was always looking for some clear photos of the box dimensions, heres what I just took to hopefully help others.

fwiw, I was able to lift both... though the 70kg longer box is no joke.

Box 1
70.5x28x57 cm
28x11x22 in
48kg/105lbs

Box 2
158x30x15 cm
62x12x6 in
71kg/156lbs
