Honestly I don't think it's tv. I think it's the Internet and cell phones. The fact that they are not looking at each other. They communicate via text. They barely even talk on the phone! It's easy to develop a lack of empathy when all you are looking at is a screen. That's why kids need to have their phones taken away and kicked out of the house to play. Phones go away when friends are over. They need face to face communication.
