My boss is out of town this week, and one of the girls in my department just went home with a sick kid. Why does this always happen on a Friday? Annoyed I don't mind doing extra when people are out, but on a Friday? Seriously? Down

One of the administrative assistants at my last job wore gloves while typing. She said it was due to the cold and for pain relief.

went to do laundry Saturday at the facility in my apartment complex. showed up with a month's worth of dirty laundry (it's a PITA so I wait until I'm almost out of clothes) only to find a sign on the door that due to renovations, that the facility would be closed until further notice. effective Friday. it was not mentioned by email or in the monthly newsletter, so now i get to find somewhere else to go on short notice. Ranting
