My truck has keyless entry. I always lock everything in the car when I go into the gym - which happens to be about four miles from my house down a BUSY road with shitty sidewalks.

This evening, after kicking my own arse doing squats, deadlifts and HIIT on the elliptical (35 minutes' worth b/c there was a cute chick on the one next to me), I came out to the truck... and could NOT for the life of me remember the code. I tried for twenty minutes, went next door to the NTB (they wouldn't help me), and finally decided "fark it I'll walk home." Annoyed

Took me about an hour to get within 1/2 mile of my house but then a buddy who lives nearby happened to be driving and saw me. He pulled over and we went to my house, got my spare keys and retrieved the vehicle. I bought him dinner at Moe's - he'd never been there before. So it all worked out but dammit, I'm home 3 hours later than I wanted to be and I'm farking whipped. Mad

The worst part is, I was SURE it had a 1 and two 7s... I mean I use this code like 3-4 times a week, even as recently as Sunday for Chrissakes... and the real code has neither 1s nor 7s (although it does have a repeated digit).

This has never happened to me before (inb4 "happens to a lot of guys") - I'm waffling between brushing it off as a temporary network outage (possibly due to exhaustion - I REALLY went hard on the HIIT) and worrying that something bigger is wrong.

No matter how hard I have tried in the past I just haven't ever been able to get excited about watching regular season hockey anyway. It just seems like they don't really start playing with any intensity until the playoffs, or at least until right before the playoffs for those that need to win to get in. I think they should cut the regular season back to about 30 or 40 games so there is more at stake for getting into the playoffs.

Regular season is awesome when it gets close to playoff time. Races to the playoffs are exciting and intense. I agree that there isn't as much intensity this early in the season, but it sucks they decided to cancel games.
