My son is a big time gamer and his computer is very old and slow. He has saved $1,000 for a new one. I'm so proud of him for saving his money for it.

It needs to be a gaming worthy Desktop computer.

Any suggestions for him?

He just needs a tower. Has a good monitor already.

game design is a very hard field to have any real success. not saying he can't. there are just very few Mike Morhaimes and Frank Pearces of the world. most make 25-35k a year working for the previously mentioned.
