Two weeks ago my husband and I were cleaning out the attic and I (being a minimalist), got a little pissy about all of the stuff that we are storing that belongs to him (a packrat). He had the audacity to ask me if it was "that time of the month".

It can't possibly be that his packrat behavior is annoying. It can't possibly be that storing 6 boxes of books from college (he graduated in '90), makes little to no sense. It can't possibly be that that stuff would make great housing for mice, rats, etc., if they felt so inclined to set up there.

Nooooooooo. It MUST be that time of the month. Annoyed
