Chick-fil-A.....

18,403 14,761 September 4, 2014 at 05:54 AM in Humor
So the first CFA in the state opened up this morning. On the news, they said people were camping out for a good 36 hours.

I've been to CFA in another state before, but camping out?

Looks like Black Friday. One guy drove over 1000 miles to attend Confused

With that being said, gotta grab some lunch later Eat

I hope In-n-Out Burger comes next. I hear lots of good things about them Eat
Who would let that fool them? No company that offers free food for a year offers unlimited free food for a year laugh out loud.

Some may have thought unlimited food (I'm sure some did think that laugh out loud)
or perhaps one sandwich a day for a year.

Not a bad thing unless you have to camp out for it.

If you're camping over 24 hours on a weekday for free chicken, you probably don't have a job so I guess free food would be good.

If you're camping out on a weekday for anything you probably don't have a job. I assume this is the case for those that camp out for days ahead of BF for a TV too. After all, if you take time off work to get this TV then you have essentially paid a days worth of wages on top of the price of the TV which IMO no longer makes it a sale.

Unless someone enjoys the whole ordeal, which oddly enough, I'm sure there are those who do...

I guess it's everywhere.

Must be the "thing" to do.

200 customers line up at new Dunkin' in LA

Customers in Los Angeles waited three hours for their first taste of Dunkin' Donuts.

More than 200 people lined up for the opening of the first Dunkin' Donuts in the Los Angeles area.

A photo of people camping out in front of the Santa Monica shop was posted on Twitter. The first person through the door waited in line for 30 hours.

And as a result, he won free coffee for a year. The next 99 customers received some swag bags.

The owners plan to open 10 more stores in the Los Angeles area over the next 8 years.

We have dunkin literally at every corner around here and we'd all laugh.

Service has always been exceptional at the Chick-fil-As I've been to. It's nice to see smiling faces - much harder to find that at many fast food joints. But I don't call if it's crowded, and surely would never camp out. Crazy

Farthest out of the way I've gone for a meal was In-n-Out Burger. Summer 1987. I had just purchased my first car, and we didn't yet have In-n-Out Burger in San Diego, so I picked up a friend and we drove the ~70 miles to the closest one in Orange County.
Dude! It was for a Double-Double! That's no Chicken!

70 Miles is VERY reasonable!

/Look at me we have 2 IN 'n Out's in Roseville Eat

30 hours of work for a year of coffee (however that might cost), might actually be worth it, IF you are one of those people who buy a cup every day.

I should be near a Chic-fil-a in a week or so. I've only been to one once that I remember and I liked it a lot. I would have gone back the next day as well but it was Sunday and I left town that day. I don't even remember where it was--somewhere in Iowa I think.

I've never been to In-n-Out Burger and I don't see that happening anytime soon unless they open in a state that I sometimes visit.

I like Culver's and I agree that their sourdough melt is yummy

I didn't care much for Popeyes chicken but I've only been there a couple of times.

CFA has the best BBQ sauce out of all the fast food joints, IMO. Highly recommended!

Culver's burgers rock!

I've never had In-n-Out before. Sadwalk Maybe I can have my brother bring me some when he visits from San Diego in a couple weeks.
