i just had homemade pulled pork.
smoked the shoulders for 12 hours yesterday, pulled them and added homemade bbq sauce after they sat to cool a bit.
threw some cole slaw on it and had some homemade onion rings with it.
throw in a nice cold Guinness and it was a perfect meal.
followed it up with poundcake slice topped with homemade vanilla bean ice cream and homemade blueberry syrup topping. (last of my fresh blueberries
yum.
good thing the food was good and so was the company because the football team sucked ass today..........

the funny part was i had no intention of making it until a freind asked me to make some for him for his wife's birthday party friday night.
so they ate all theirs and then decided since i had more (my smoker fits 4 shoulders as easily as two, so why not do extra), that they would "stop by" today to watch the game on tv (we all sold our tickets to the opposite team fans since they pay outrageous money for them) and eat mine.......
now i'm left with about 1 quart total out of 40 some pounds smoked....
sigh............
