It's just bitter cold here -24 with windchill. Luckily when it's this cold, we don't get much for snow.

There was a 20 car pile-up on a main road here. Glad I live 40 minutes south of the main city traffic... My commute was relatively painless. I avoided all major freeways and life was a breeze.

I'm right there with you. Bloody cold. The low tonight is supposed to be -13 with strong winds pushing the windchill into hell freezing over proportions.

Apparently the Decemberists have a new album coming out in a couple weeks. I hadn't even realized they were off their hiatus.

That song about the widower always weirds me out. It pops up randomly on my running playlist when I'm not expecting it. I'll glance around to see if anyone's watching me listen to it because I feel complicit somehow

There is a nerdcore/chiptune show later this month I may go to. I need to listen to some of the tracks, I'm not necessarily a big Mega Ran fan, but I haven't heard his stuff with Storyville.
