Nah. My trip to Charlotte was a bust. I picked the wrong place to stay, and I was on the wrong side of town. Aside from hanging with VF, I was left disappointed and came home a day early despite my hotel already being paid for through priceline. I'm still left with the feeling that I need to get away. At least in NOLA I know where to go and what to do. By having the company pay for it my bank account doesn't suffer.

I know its sort of silly, but when an ex I havent heard from in a while decides to text me "how have you been doing?" I get a small satisfaction of responding "hi this is vviles, who's this"

like hey asshole, you dont even belong in my phone any more

The only places I would go in NOLA whilst drinking are dives. I want to remember every sweet second of every amazing morsel.

I'm sure, but I don't eat much of the food either. It's just lower on my list of places I'd like to visit than it was when I partied my ass off

The service manager at the radio shop e-mailed me just now. They're actually starting the work on my radio in order to get it shipped back to me this coming weekend. I warned him that his technician should definitely bench-test every feature before returning it to me, because that's the first thing I'm going to do when I receive it, BEFORE installing it in the car.

It took me some effort to get Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows" to a point where I can play it, but so far I feel like it was time well spent. None of the versions online seemed to have the right chords, but I have the songbook, so I put the chords from that onto the lyrics, and then found that I can only sing it in that key if I'm using a mic (can't get good projection when I sing that low), so I had to play around with transposing and using a capo (an usual step for me). Normally I can either just transpose a song or use a capo.
