I've previously tried both melatonin and valerian root. Neither one had any impact on long-term overnight sleep success. I still woke up with the racing thoughts and restless mind. Only the Abilify has been able to provide any measure of relief.

So did I miss anything good during my time off?

My new TV is on the fritz. I contacted Amazon, and they are giving me a full refund. The audio sounds like a broken record every few days no matter which input I'm using. I still think Samsung makes superior TVs, but they have always been hit or miss on the audio. I have a new TV coming today just so long as FedEx lets the oldest sign for it.

Speaking of the oldest, he and the bride pulled up the driveway quickly and ran inside yesterday. They told me the chickens were gone, and there was a hawk eating one of them in the chicken run. I went outside, and confirmed this. The hawk had flown off and just left the dead chicken laying there. The oldest went behind the garage and found the missing chickens safe. They had flown away in fear. Then he took the dead chicken to the back of the property, threw it up in a tree, and waited. Within an hour he had killed the culprit which turned out to be a farking :insert bird of prey:.
