Tonight, my plan (besides using the snow thrower to clear my parking space at home) is to test out this acoustic version of Ace of Spades and see if I can pull it off for tomorrow.

That is impressive. I slow cook mine at 225 for 9 hours. Pull it at exactly 160 and let it sit for an hour.

No, I have a stainless steel Orion smoker. [theorioncooker.com] It's a rather non-conventional design, but does a very nice job. A co-worker's brother-in-law got one two years ago, then the co-worker did, and they both convinced me to give it a try. It took a few rounds using it to learn just how long to go with different meats. Also, how not to put too many coals around the bottom, and just add a few new ones every hour or so, in order to maintain a lower smoking temperature.

My dad just got out of surgery to have a cyst removed from the nerves on his spinal column.

We've had so damned much rain for so damned many weeks now, I was beginning to forget what sunshine even looked like. I'm standing in the window behind my cubicle, getting as much sunlight as I can, while it's still available. They're predicting more rain Wednesday and Thursday, but clearing up on Friday and the weekend. Pray

I bought some staples for the staple gun over lunch, and had the misfortune to hear some country cover of Landslide. It was awful.
I'm recovering one of our piano stools, I got most of the way done last night before I ran out of staples.
