I hadn't liked LeBron since the Decision, but he grew on me this year.
Damn imagine if KD went to the Cavs
Just waiting up for the 11 pm news, for a change.

My friend just texted me and she said she's just not over it from last night and she's exhausted for work

Yea, verily, t'was quite good!
Here's one of the porky victims, before the pulling and chopping:
Oh my!
I waited until after 3 pm to go outside and clean up my smoker and put it away. Then Mrs. Frog wanted some overgrown shrubbery trimmed, so I got out the chainsaw and the bypass pruners and spent a while working on that. She made a lemon Bundt cake while I was working, and the house smells really, really lemony good right now.
I wish I coulda slept late Sunday, but it was Father's Day and we went with my In-laws to breakfast...I did take a 1.5 hour nap in the afternoon but I couldn't go longer because the in-laws were leaving and then I needed to figure out what to do for my Dad for Father's Day....ended up having the fam over for burgers and dogs on the grill.
Last night was exhausting but fun with the hubby...impressively intense
Up at 5 to drive to the Lake Tahoe area to practice Hill 1 and 2 of the Death Ride. 6,000+ feet of elevation gain.
Did pretty good on both climbs, the descents were good...hit 52.6 MPH at 1 point.
The Wind's were JACKED UP! Serious weird cross winds...I'd suddenly be 1 foot or so over due to side gusts..but the bike handled it well. Having Disc brakes now makes a nice difference
Sunday I managed a 35 mile ride with the local bike shop group. I got 2 rear flats
The irony being that I had 2 tubeless tires, oem specific Rim Tape and Valves waiting for me at the Bike shop for installation post ride. You put a fix-a-flat goo in the tires since you can't really patch a tire like you would a tube. Had I had them installed BEFORE the ride, I wouldn't have had to stop and hold the group up while I fixed both flats. (It's a no- drop ride so the group will wait for the slowest rider to catch up, etc...or stand there watching/helping if they have a mechanical issue)
We took the boys over to see my parents and had some cupcakes (per DS1's request).
Went home, relaxed with some BOND, James Bond on TV...
Then remembered that I had a load of sand in the truck that I got while the tires were being mounted on my bike...waited till about 6~ish and unloaded it into my "Project"
I've been putting paver stones down in the front yard to make a walkway from the front door to the street sidewalk. I got a few more pavers set, fixed a couple of rows where they had settled. and called it a night.
:whew:
PG made me a set of coasters, she bought some wood and use a woodburner to put polyhedral dice designs on them (then borrowed some of my leftover polyurethane to seal them).
