The BBC has suspended Jeremy Clarkson following allegations of a fracas with a Top Gear producer.
The BBC2 show will not be broadcast this Sunday [independent.co.uk] while the BBC investigates the allegation.
Clarkson was already on a final warning from the BBC following a string of accusations of racism.
The BBC said: "Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time."

I'm not saying he won't land another show, just that it's unlikely. There aren't that many production companies in the UK and with an assault charge on Clarkson's record, he would find it hard to get a visa to work in the US. Plus I doubt May and Hammond would want to move to the states for a big part of the year to film a show. It wouldn't be as good without all three of them.

I'd have to disagree. I'm sure Clarkson is well off and their solicitors should be able to sign something to the effect of if you assault anybody for any reason, you're on your own.
Insurance is not like Obamacare where you are (supposedly) required to have it. Rather, insurance is money spent on a shared responsibility. If the production company can absolve any responsibility from what Clarkson does, I think he'll get picked up somewhere.
I see what you're saying, but I think there are a few more options on the table.

ZM, it sounds like you dislike Clarkson and that seems to be influence your opinion on his re-signability.
The fact is, whatever he ends up next will inherit 300Million + viewers instantly worldwide. Those are World Cup numbers. Believe me, there are networks waiting in line to shovel money at his face
