The BBC has suspended Jeremy Clarkson following allegations of a fracas with a Top Gear producer.
The BBC2 show will not be broadcast this Sunday [independent.co.uk] while the BBC investigates the allegation.
Clarkson was already on a final warning from the BBC following a string of accusations of racism.
The BBC said: "Following a fracas with a BBC producer Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday. The BBC will be making no further comment at this time."

ZM, it sounds like you dislike Clarkson and that seems to be influence your opinion on his re-signability.
The fact is, whatever he ends up next will inherit 300Million + viewers instantly worldwide. Those are World Cup numbers. Believe me, there are networks waiting in line to shovel money at his face
And if he is charged, then I stand by my statement, he'll find it hard to get into the USA on a work visa, as they've stopped other UK celebrities from working here before due to their criminal record.

Clarkson is what makes the UK show though. Without him it may succeed just because enough of its current fan base will continue to watch but it will never be the same.

Jeremy Clarkson 'fracas' still under police investigation- 10:31AM GMT 27 Mar 2015 [telegraph.co.uk]
May gave no comment, but updated his Twitter profile [twitter.com] to say: "Former TV presenter".
Well in this case it's like having that guy who wants to reheat his fish at 10:30 in the morning punching you for not reheating it for him
Oh so just because the Producer didn't want to press charges it makes it ok
So by your logic...If a college football player gets abused in the locker room by the coach but doesn't want to press charges then it's ok to let the Coach carry on abusing the players
