Sleep Study Tonight! Who's ever had one? (Try to limit the OT's 'cause I'm nervous!)

So I'm getting a sleep study done tonight. I'm nervous about it. I have to be at the center at 9:00 pm. I can just picture myself lying there, hooked up to machines, flat on my back while scientists in white coats peer at me and say "Sleep, damn you! SLEEP!!" I will never sleep tonight Sadwalk

I've done it. It really is nothing to it.

There aren't any docs there. I had 2 lab assistants, but they were in a control room. The bed is generally very comfortable.

You'll be fine.

Pretty sure you won't hardly notice them. My ex had to have one, and she said it wasn't as bad as expected.

Sometimes I wonder if PG needs to have one too... I worry about her because she doesn't get great quality of sleep... She does have trouble breathing quiet a bit, and snores once in a while - it makes me worried about her.

Actually, I have some health issues. Too numerous to get into, but part of it is, I have migraines and seizures. I had to quit my job recently because the seizures have gotten worse Frown I had some EEG's done last year that were inconclusive. My neurologist recently put me on Topomax for the migarines and to hopefully control the seizures too. I am getting the sleep study done to observe my sleep patterns and I am also getting another EEG on Friday.

You'll be just fine Finzz. They wont touch you inappropriately until you are in a deep sleep.
