It looks like a tornado hit my apartment complex last night. Many trees down, lots of covered parking spots are destroyed. I saw at least 3 cars with broken windows. It's surreal.

I had to step over a tree when I got home this morning.

I would take pictures, but I'm too lazy.

Thunder and lightning so far. The heavy stuff is headed straight toward us.

I am guessing abt another half to an hour before the rain hits as it is just begining to sprinkle in Desoto/Red Oak and we're further east.

Been raining for abt 15 minutes. the satellite just went out and just got a huge boom of thunder. Looks like when this is over there will be another round right behind it. Hopefully it'll all pass soon so I can get a little sleep tonight. Frown

I haven't seen Oak Point Park flooded like that since Texas Weather Thread #1709.

Communications went down at work, but caused by internal hardware. There might have been a spike of electricity or something that caused them to malfunction though.

Oh and there was part of a tree in the road on the way home.

We just ended up with a bit of rain and a few gusts. Nothing major thank goodness. :whew:
