It looks like a tornado hit my apartment complex last night. Many trees down, lots of covered parking spots are destroyed. I saw at least 3 cars with broken windows. It's surreal.
I had to step over a tree when I got home this morning.

Just rain here. Lots and lots of it. So far today the blue tarp has held up... as long as it doesn't rain any harder we should be OK.

11p: A severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for most of North Texas. A Tornado Warning that was issued for Grayson County has expired, but Collin County remains under a warning until midnight. Reports of damage from strong winds have come in from Grayson.
Right now in Collin County, in West Plano, low level shear markers have indicated rotation. The rotation has been spotted between Central Expressway and the Dallas North Tollway. It's moving up through Allen, McKinney. The storms are moving off to the east at 30 to 35 mph.
The core of the storm will be in Blue Ridge at 11:22 p.m. Heavy rain will pour down as the storm moves throughout Collin County. - WFAA-TV
11:33p: The storm continues to pulse, and is moving along 380. For those in Princeton, McKinney and Blue Ridge, a low level shear marker has indicated rotation at the surface. - WFAA-TV
11:49p: Many power lines have been reported down in the Collinsville area in Grayson County. Twenty-five homes have been reported uninhabitable. The roof of a school gym and storage buildings were also destroyed. There has also been a report of at least one severe injury in which a person was transported to a hospital. The condition of that person has not been released. - WFAA.com
11:50p: A spokesperson with the Red Cross said teams are heading to Grayson County to assist families in need of shelter. The Red Cross said they are also monitoring the Collin County area. - WFAA.com

down here in the south, today is high 78 and tomorrow is high 46... it's "Get Sick" weather down here.

I went out this morning in a short sleeved shirt, when I got home a couple hours later the temp dropped and it started raining.
It's just how the saying goes "In Texas, don't like the weather? Wait a few minutes, it'll change."
