well, she has an IV and when she got there had a fever of 104 Bigeye. she has an infection and the docs had to draw blood from her arteries (not a vein) to see what it is. they also took out her IUD because of the infection. they arent sure if that caused it or not.

the thing im pissed about is she's had eating disorders in the past and i dont think she's eating properly, which would lower her immune syster because shes not getting the nutrients she needs. within the past 2 weeks she was sick, stayed home from work a couple days, and had a fit because she was too cold and had a fever. the lame thing is she didint want to take tylenol or anything because she wanted to 'sweat it out'. i want to Smackher for being an idiot!

Please pray for my mom and step-dad. Their dog, Angel, has to be put down today at 3:30pm. They are devastated and having a very, very hard time. The dog has been the only source of comfort for them.

Long story... kinda. She was abused by her previous owners. They left her chained to the porch out of reach of water and let all the males mate with her. She has beaten so bad that she ended up not being able to walk, pernamently. They broke her tail, places in her back, legs.... her uterus was coming out. She is a pit-bull so many people turned the idea of taking her in away because of that. But my parents have always had pits and loved her immediately. My dad would carry her to the back yard to potty and then bring her back. She had a big recliner chair she stayed in. She could scoot and stand to potty but that was it. I guess what happened as of now is she developed a tumor on her liver and went into an early stage of liver failure (ie: eyes and skin turning yellow etc). They have had her for a long time, I believe 5 years or so ( I can't remember at the moment) and of course she wasn't a pup then.

and an update on my sister...
she's home from the hospital with strep, an ear infection, some vaginal something or other, and they are testing her for a pretty bad thing. i dont want to broadcast it, but please Pray some more for her.

also, my nephew keeps talking like my sister is going to die. i keep telling him she'll be ok and not to worry Frown

well, im off to babysit, and run errands 'n such. i'll pop back in later.

That does sound pretty nasty! Be careful not to get it from her (the strep of course). Just keep comforting the little one, that must have been pretty scary and still is!

Oh I am near to tears. What is wrong with people. How could anyone do those things to a poor animal. I just am beyond words... Thanks God for loving people like your parents, and that Angel was able to have a joyful last years of her life and know what is to be loved. Please give my most sincere condolences to them...I am so sorry that Angel has to go, but she will be waiting at the "Rainbow Bridge" whole, happy and tail wagging.

Hello all, just a quick stop in to Say Hey. Sorry i havent been on for 3 days, but im swamped. Not used to being back at work stuff. Working so many hours and not used to the sleep pattern. Then getting home at 5 and trying to get all my computer stuff done fast. I'm used to having my Maddie all day, now i only see her in the evenings. Everything is all messed up. I will get it together soon. Dont know what's going on for everybody, dont have time to back track pages. Love you All!!!!
