It does suck to be congested and have ear pain... If it starts to mess with your balance (light headed, dizzy feeling) then it is definately inner ear. Either way, if you are congested, stay away from dairy products, as it will help slow down mucous production.

im back from the doc. she said everything looked good except my ear. i was a little worried she'd say my lungs were bad or something, because i have a cough. im worried about my ear though. she said my eardrum was red. she prescribed me antibiotics (which i really dont want to take) and said she wouldnt normally prescribe AB for adult ear infections, but is going to because the way my eardrum looks Crying. she scared me!

Listen to the Dr and take the antibotics. Comfort Why suffer any longer than you need to or have it get worse?
