Hey everyone, I'm new to this thread, but I'm glad it's here.

Well, my bf and I just got engaged. It should be a good thing and I love him, but I hate hate HATE his family! I don't see WHY we have to invite his family to the wedding. My parents are forcing us to invite them but they're doing NOTHING but starting trouble. We both HATE his mom and haven't spoken to her for 3 years (after she stole $15k from him and kicked him out of the house). And no one in his family has ever respected me. They never ask how we're doing or invite me to any family events. They pretend as if I don't exist. And his mom acts like we treat her like shit and she doesn't know why so she starts calling my mom and crying to her, saying she doesn't know why her son doesn't pick up her phone calls or involves her in our wedding plans, etc. She is such a manipulative, evil, greedy liar. And when my fiance asked her why she lied to my mom, she went crazier and disowned him. When he went to apologize to her (even though she's a complete liar), she said he's her favorite child and she loves him more than her eldest son and youngest daughter and that she won't attend his wedding. I am absolutely DELIGHTED that she said that, but his relatives are telling my fiance to say sorry again and basically BEG her to come. Then they tell him to tell MY parents to pretty much beg her to come too after his aunt told my fiance that his mom HATES me, like everyone else on his mom side! And they even told ME to say sorry to her when I never did anything wrong. If anything, his mom wronged me back then but she blames him leaving her on me. I am soooo upset!

Why can't I just have a wedding full of people that are HAPPY for me and want to celebrate my marriage to the man I love? Instead, all these people that hate me are coming. I feel so sad.

According to my parents, it's not just mine and my fiance's day, it's our parents' day too, and they don't want to look bad in front of their friends. =(

My rant?! I F***ING hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate my shower/bath. WTF does it only spit out room temperature water or icy cold water?! I just wanted to take one lousy relaxing bath. I spent tons of time preparing--- with four pots of boiling water on the stove and carefully walked all the way down the hall avoiding the cats... and ARRRRGH!!!!
