I like gardening, but haven't done it in a long while.
I bought seeds- for vegetables...I don't know whether I should plant them, or start them inside and plant them. The pack says just plant them, but I am afraid they won't grow. I don't know what I am doing! Crying <----------------- legitimate whine.

I start mine inside and then plant them, but mainly because its still so cold outside.

The groom walked down the aisle to the theme from Star Wars, there was cat grass on the reception tables, origami swans everywhere, bamboo to take home and burritos from Freebirds [freebirds.com]! for the buffet. The weather right now is somewhere between 55-70 during the days, and 45-55 at night. My soil is mostly reg dirt, witha little sand in it..there's a lot of sandstone around here. It's not too bad. I wasn't planning on doing potted plants, I didn't think it would work. I have zucchini, watermelon, canteloupe (sp?), green beans, cucumbers in seeds, and I am going to buy tomato plants already started. Last year, I just did tomatoes, and Robert dug holes and filled them with potting soil, then put our reg. dirt on top of it. I don't think we will have any more freezes. A frost is possible, but not likely, unless we have a crazy old snap like we did last year- we lost all of our pears and apples.
