Lol I know what you mean. My dh is so sick of Honey Bunches of Oats and is going to flip the next time that he sees me bringing in more cereal. We are finally down to 10ish boxes and that is still too much to him. Well, it looks like I will be bringing in three more boxes this week!

As others had stated, some stores were still giving out gift cards yesterday for the Irish Spring and deodorants. One store had nothing left and stopped giving out gift cards sometime last week; however, another store had tons of that stuff left on clearance and was giving gift cards. I bought 14 twin packs of Irish Spring in two orders. The first cashier was so nice and the second one was a witch. She seemed confused and mad that I paid about 12 bucks and got 20 bucks worth of giftcards back. Smilie I am going to end up donating most of it anyway. What is intersting is that even though I bought all of that soap, there were still tons of double packs left! There were even more packs of the deodorants left (at least 30)!

Oh well, hopefully we will see more gc deals soon!

Were you doing all seperate transactions per GC so you wouldn't have to come out of pocket at all? Did you end up using coupons too? TIA

Just got this email...................

Dear XXXXXXXX, We're always looking for ways to make the Target shopping experience better for every guest. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't receive the type of service you expect at Target. At Target we expect our team members to help you in a professional manner. The attitude and behavior you describe aren't consistent with our guest service philosophy. Your feedback is very helpful to us and I'll be sure to make your comments available to the Store Training Lead for further review with the staff. If I could please get the Receipt ID# located at the bottom of your receipt for that day I may be able to identify the Team Member. Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping at Target, and we make it easy to use them at our stores. But because of the variety of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how coupons can be redeemed at Target: -We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and manufacturer-issued coupons.-We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.-We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item; in that case, we'll adjust the value of the coupon to equal the price of the item.-We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products not carried in our stores. All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of sale. Have questions or want more information about using coupons at Target? Check with a Guest Services Team Leader at your local store. You can also give us a call at (800) 440-0680, or visit us on Target.com. Either way, we're here to help! Thanks for shopping with us. We'll see you again soon at Target. Sincerely, CarolynTarget Guest Relations

[QUOTE=lolu13;10689036]EEK! laugh out loud Now, mind you everyone, this comes from the chick that sells Target coupons on eBay. Of course she is paranoid...she changed her SD username (svanjones) and also changed her eBay username. (no longer svanjones on eBay.) So....this is no surprise to me that she has such paranoia. If I were her, I would focus my paranoia on my buyers of the coupons I sell on eBay. Those are the people that are going to hurt you the most. Watch out when one of those buyers happens to be a "mole!!" LMAO Oh, and DS7 said "share".....bahhhhhh haaa haaa. I didn't know eBay was about sharing!

Get a life troll....I did this ONCE when I joined slickdeals for reasonings you don't need to know and I have never sold coupons since. I changed my name on Ebay because I sell gift cards mostly and that was more intuitive to my sales. On here to try to get away from you trolls that have nothing better to do than research my name history. I wish I had the time you do.

I buy them off Ebay ALL the time. And trust me, they are worth it. I wish more people would sell them

Mmk. That was directed at me, and let me say that I don't always get to my PM's right away, sorry about that. Anyone who's expecting a response right away is probably going to be disappointed, although there are times when I'm quick about it if I do open the link and have a response right away. Sometimes they sit there for a week before I so much as open them, and it can be days after that before I reply - it's just how I am with PM's Dontknow. I understand you sent me something, and I haven't had a chance to do what I was talking to you about doing to it, so there is nothing to send you yet, but if you recall *I* was the one who offered to send it back to you in the first place. Likewise, because I haven't done said thing, I haven't used it, but I do appreciate you taking the time to send it to me, and I did fully intend on sending it back to you upon completion. I'm just lol'ing at the paranoia comments, as I'm sure anyone who knows me is as well. LMAO I kind of like that you alluded to me being a mole though. WATCH YER BACK!!! Rofl2
Well, at least I get a response this time. I don't need what you said you'd send me. Obviously I sent it to be helpful since I knew it was a good deal. Just thought the lack of response was weird. Now I have another troll. Great!

While she's obviously more than capable of defending herself, I don't think Whee needs to stoop to it. You obviously didn't read her reply very carefully, or you would have seen that she apologized twice. And her comment at the end was her own wonderful sense of humor. Calling Whee a troll is not only unnecessary, it is uninformed and downright childish. If you have further comments, please take them to chit chat or to private. We're full up on crazy here.

On the issue of cliques, I must say that I truly understand both perspectives. I was once seen as part of a clique on the CVS threads, but it was definitely not intentional on my part. I doubt that those with the most experience here really want to treat new folks poorly, but understanding the paranoia we all feel from time to time about getting our deals, keeping our ability to get the great deals, etc, it is understandable to be careful who we take into our confidence. I do really appreciate all I have learned from reading here, and will try, as I get the chance, to offer info that can be helpful. hug

i cut and paste the deals i'm interested in to a running word document that i print out when i'm going to the store.
I do something similar. I keep a 'temporary' word document that I go in and paste info into - deals I want to do, posts I want to look at again, links to coupons I want to print or register for, etc. Really makes it easy to keep track of what I'm doing.

Some CVS stores have a similar coupon.

Just leave it in your trunk like I do! laugh out loud Seriously, I have about 20 boxes there right now! It makes for some interesting coordination of shopping!!

Were these coupons from the inserts or the ones from the CVS link?

Ok, it's been mentioned that I can use the kraft coupon at walmart, as long as price is over 3 dollars... I've tried it before at self checkout and the machine said "item exceeds value" or something like that.... The singles cheese was a 32 pk for i think 5 dollars and it still beeped.. what gives?
WM SCO's are YMMV. There are posts in chat on a few people's experience's with them. I used 5 of them last night at WM SCO with no problems,

I leave stuff in the back of the Jeep too (there's a couple boxes of HBO in there right now also). Mostly because I just don't have room for it in the apt. LMAO

There were $2 q's in the big bottles of shampoo & Cond. (with trial bottles attached), that were on clearance a few weeks back.

I'm going to use the $2 q's fromt he CVS link. I just cut off the top that says CVS. The expiration date and manuf. coupon wording is farther down the coupon, so there shouldn't be a problem.

Good god.....earth to slickdeals, I DO NOT think Whee is a mole. I was giving her a hard time (maybe you all need LOL's LMAO all over the place to read between the lines). I was just letting her know (since she doesn't read all her PM's frequently) that I don't NEED it so no biggy. My "Now I have a new troll, Great!" was a JOKE. It's obvious whee is highly liked around here and I like her too which is WHY I SENT HER SOMETHING IN THE FIRST PLACE. There is no crazy here. I am fine with Whee. You all are drama making this into something it isn't.

my popcorn q's did not come in inserts, I ordered them from ladybug after reading about it on here...they are the ones that took over a week to get here. no more ladybug for me. Something is fishy, I ordered on sunday the 16th and got an email monday saying they were shipped...not they did not arrive until YESTERDAY!!!! When I looked at the post date on the envelope it said 3/15 (a day before I even ordered)...so somethings not right, she must run a bunch of envelopes through to get the dates on and mail them whenever she wants.
I agree, I will not use Ladybug again.

I went to WM SCO at lunch and had an awful time with coupons. It's so YMMV, it's how the individual stores set their registers. Ours beeped after 2 of the movie coupons. I had him take off the other 2 movies as I had to go back to work. It was just a PITA in general, I prefer to do the regular deals at Target. I'm done with WM SCO for good this time.

Yup, there are several pages of chit chat on it in the chit chat thread. I just posted my own lunch experience there as well.

I think I'm going to Target tonight after the baby sleeps. Wanted to last night but was too tired. I still want to look for bob builder and start on my neutrogena coupons. I also want to kill off the last items on my toy list on the next 3 trips. Then I'll be "done" just in time for busy time at work.

I can't believe HBO is TPC'd. I just bought the first 3 boxes ever at WM and it was 2.76. Bummer.
