I didn't get a chance to catch up yet, just started on the deal thread. But I had to come here after reading just 2 pages (476 & 477) and scream! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!




Ok, now I feel a little better and can go back to reading the same questions over and over and over and over!!!! (Why do people say they have been reading the thread but ask the same question that has been asked 15 times in the last 2 pages???)

ok weird, what do you all see for my avatar? I see dizzney 's and when I go to my user control panel I see my kids (like it should be) what gives?

lucky for me i quit my job just in time.
my first monday of unemployment and here i am - made $10 at cvs and $50 at target today. not too shabby.
dh actually went with me to the last store (only because i promised him a free smoothie ). they ended up not having smoothie or breadsticks stuff so he had to do without until tomorrow.

These were some of my favorite gifts and they held up through using them with all 3 kids. You can personalize the burp cloths by buying a small amount of cute ribbon and sewing a couple of strips length wise (along where the pieces are sewn together). Some people just stencil some baby details (with paint) on the ends. I can posts pics if that would help.

So I posted something before, but I got to thinking the last day or so about this. I was trying to come up with a really cool gift, one that no one would think of and that would be used. This may sound silly, but I would have loved it if someone would have given me one bottle of every different type of bottle. I ended up buying so many different types of bottles to figure out which one worked the best for my little one. It would have been nice to have one of each to try out of him.

hi, for the baby gift idea. My friend really liked the idea I did for her. I got a laundry basket. Put a clothes line inside and clipped with clothes pins to the line was one outfit in each size from newborn up to 2T. She got lots of little clothes but none of the bigger sizes. I folded it so the newborn was on top when she lifted it out. It was about 8 feet when it was done. She took pictures of it stretched across her living room.

I empathize w/u. There are never enough hours in the day! I am staying up way too late to catch up . I have read that Kukio oil is great for skin issues such as the one you are dealing with. It is costly. I have used it and really liked it. I got it in Hawaii. It was not cheap there either but well worth it since it worked fast. I used a combination of gel from an aloe plants leaves and this oil.It helped heal my sunburned skin and sore dry feet faster than other stuff.. This info is from a google search:

The oil is said to be better than the lotion.My mom has to have a cortisone shot 2 or so x per yr.. She knows it is not good to have that many but says the alternative is worse. She does like this oil but does not use it often enough per her. Becoming a vegetarian did not solve her problem either. She takes benedryl a lot. It makes her sleep well at night too. Some say drinking aloe vera juice is helpful . Try George's brand if you do that since it has no taste. It is like water. Many are very very bitter. I get mine at Whole Foods. I have not seen any for sale at T.

I was guilty there. I normally do read before I post, but was posting about my run so didn't bother, ALTHOUGH I never claimed to have read the post before asking

My son has eczema too. He's had it since he was one month old. I aquafore him up each day. When it's bad I do it twice. Then when it's really bad, I use hydrocortizone cream. That stuff knocks it out withing a couple hours. My doctor said not to use it a ton, because of the steroids in it (not sure what the steroids do) but when he gets bad I put some on him and he clears right up.

Thanks for the tips! I have used hydrocortizone on occasion when he's really bad, but he gets it all over (mostly his back and thighs) so it takes a lot of the hydrocortizone to lube him down.

It is getting expensive. I used to get it on sale, without a q, for 50 cents. Not anymore. All the groceries are getting ridiculously priced anymore.

I bribed my teenager into going with me with promises of a smoothie and breadsticks. He said he will go with me on all my Target runs from now on!

And on the Aquafor, it really is great stuff. I used to work in Radiation Oncology and we always put it on radiation burns which are really really bad and it worked great. Its one of those things I keep around just to have it.

I did 3 Target runs yesterday, and 7 CVS trips, ugghhh so tired

Two year tests were a couple months ago and he came back cancer-free! Yay! Thought we could go to every other year testing, but oncologist still wants every 6 months.
Anyway, that was WAY off topic, but oh well!
