ANY SDers in Florida (particularly Broward) who can tell me of any shelters, etc that are in the area that I can donate to? I don't use Pantene and I need to figure out what to do with all of these things before I plunge in for more, LOL..

In the spirit of some equal time for the guys. Cool

Wow! I was in Target today to pick up some, *ahem*, "GC generating items" and this thread kept running through my mind. As I was wandering through the Menswear department I happened to see a display of boxer-brief underpants (sorry, no Transformers in my size, so I couldn't use the ETQ from 06) and I was unexplicably intrigued... I have always been a "tighty-whitey" guy Blush (although I will wear grey ones if hard pressed & green on St. Patricks day) and I wondered if I had been missing something all these years - so I bought a package. I must say that these things are great! Whee The give me all the support my normal undershorts do, but without so much of that annoying chafing at the legholes that can happen when powerwalking through the wide open expanses of the Big "T" hunting down my littlest pony playsets & shampoo peelies. And guys, they are still roomy enough to let the "boys" breathe or accomodate a good scratching or two while crouching down to retrieve all the clearance goodies you have stashed under strategically placed merchandise!
Tonight, I even tried them out with the infamous "sock technique" as I cruised the Starbucks cafe in the local Super "T" - I must say I got quite a few "looks" from the ladies behind the counter as I saddled up to order my drink of choice. nod And - this is the best part - the extra bit of "leg length" on the boxer-briefs really holds the sock where you want it to be instead of just having it gravitate towards the middle like other shorts do. I will definitely be wasting some good coupons to buy more of these bad boys - I may even get a red or black pair! Thumbsup

Aren't chit-chat threads great?! Grin

Look in the phone book for abused women's shelters or try Goodwill - they have programs to help people who are "getting back on their feet" and could probably use some free poo's...

A little bit off topic, but im curious - Regarding the 06 ETQs, how does a Target store go about "prosecuting" the person abusing the coupons? Would they stop you on the next go around? Notify you by mail? Police at the door thing? Some poster had a Police story but the scenario was a bit different. Wondering if anyones heard of anything?

And not to be really super gross, but anyone got any tips to make a 2-yr-old boy go #2 in the potty?! We've got the first one down pretty good, but he can't seem to get the hang of the other one! And its not that he's constipated - he's quite regular, almost like clockwork - every day after lunch he has to go. 'Cept for when he's sitting on the pot.
CANDY!!laugh out loud And all the other suggestions are really great as well.
I have three boys...one potty trained at 3, one at 5, one at 4...but he's now six and still wearing a pull up at night. UGH! A wise person once told me (my friend the family practitioner)...they'll get around to it, and I promise you they won't graduate from high school in diapers.LMAO I believe she's the one who suggested candy too..but she had four children under 8 years old at the time. I'm sure there was no chaos in that house.

That's when your bra decides to give you a little extra "b**b" strategically and unsightly placed just over the edge of that cute little push up bra. We've all see that girl haven't we?

Ummm....LMAO
Perhaps you should pull out that sock before you get to the toy aisle?
I applaud you for expanding your undergarment horizon!! Now just a word of advice. If you do in fact decide to go all out and get the silk boxers? Do NOT...I repeat do NOT try the sock.

Funny that you guys were talking about this. I was SOOO excited this week to buy my first non nursing bra for a while. I am still BF but I am trying soo hard to wean the babe laugh out loud Anyways, so I go to T (of course Wink) and then I end up getting a clearanced Gillian O'Malley (sp?) bra for $3.24 laugh out loud My hubby was like WTF??? You "splurge" on yourself and its under $4 laugh out loud

Quote from oranges :
They feel like they are losing a piece of them in their poop? ROTFL
That is the funniest thing I have read all night!!

I am telling ya all, get yourselves some of these clearanced C9 bras. You won't look back. The only thing is that they aren't lined, so in the winter it would be a no no. LOL

My head hurts from all the crap on that thread over there.
Thanks I will have to look for these again. I saw this when I got the Gillian O'Mallay bra but wasn't sure about it so I didn't get it. I will get it if there is still one tomorrow.

Did I mentioned I heart these scissors.... My DH is of hearing that!!! LMAO
When you use them on multiple sheets of paper, do they splay the paper or slice right through them without making all the edges different distances from your dotted lines? I'll totally drive the 20 miles to pick one up if they don't splay!

Just want to say hi! I rarely post on Chit Chat but thought I'd give it a go! I pray my peelies come today (from Pretzels). I am dying to go back to Target and I haven't gone since Sunday! And I don't want to go unless my peelies are here dangit! If anyone needs Bounty hangtags, I've got some. Anyone know a good deal to use my $1 Hanes bra coupon on? BTW, in my Shop Smart magazine the Gilligan O(something) bra is number one!!! It beat Victoria's Secret Ipex in a user study!
They make awesome panties too. I am a huge fan of their lace thongs (ok, now you all officially know too much about me). They're the ones that are completely made of lace, with sort of a wider band at the top, and you wouldn't believe how comfortable they are. But of course, if I do ever track down that Transformers underwear in my size, I'm gonna deal with the crazy VPL's and rock the living sh*t out of them under everything for a while! LMAO

Quote from Frazzlemom :
Looks like yer boobs would end up doing what I call the "floofy thing" pretty easily in it... you know what I mean, girls! Am I wrong? I'd love to hear there's a perkifying, low-cut bra that doesn't have the floof effect... always been curious as to weather it's really $30 worth of wonderful...

OK, I know this'll sound weird, but I just kindof put myself into the place of a little kid who's been put on the potty for training & who's scared, yadayadayada ... and had a thought. (I know, mark the calendar!) What if the poor little dears are just scared their butts'll get splashed when, um, ya? Maybe all they need is reassurance that their booties will remain high & dry.
Ya, maybe I'm on crackers, but maybe not, too.
Bwahahaha. Quadruple boob (as the bra fitter at Nordstroms called it). It happens when your bra doesn't quite fit right. Sometimes just going up one band size will do it... might not even need to change your cup size, since they get bigger as the band size increases. Related to that, I always wondered why the 42C's cups didn't look aaaanything like 34C's until she explained that to me, and then it was like... oh... duh, lol.
