Ohmy jerky ex! i hate when guys dont put in any effort.

im preparing myself for my 30th birthday in a month. im prepared to not get any presents, not have a party, and being all alone. this way, it wont be a let down because it's already what i expect it to be.

I don't ask for anything because I hate asking for things. The only thing I wanted was for him to make me feel special and loved specially since I gave him almost 6 years of my life. I hurts me when I made all the effort to make his birthday last month special. I got him a card, got him a gift and everything else that i needed to do for him. AND THIS IS HOW HE THANKS ME!!!!!

my ex (and friend) is like that, except we've only know each other for 5 years. he has a birthday coming up (may 25) but im not planning on doing anything for him. he lives an hour away anyways.

i've been really uncomfortable around him lately. since i broke up with him a couple years ago we've been on and off. i got tired of it and gave him an ultimatum. either be commited to me and we go to couples therapy so we can work out our problems, or be a friend. he chose friends. i got over him as boyfriend material.

anyways, he keeps sending me texts about how he misses me, wants my kisses, etc. then when i see him it's just weird. then the other night, i told him about cutie starbucks guy and how i asked him out. he got all jealous and then he confessed he's in love with me still. i brought up the whole night we had are arguments and when i gave him the ultimatum. it's like he forgot all about that Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) . then he asks if i would get jealous if he went on a date. i said yes, but not jealous you're on a date but jealous you have someone to date. so, i think he knows there's no chance we're getting back together and that we're staying friends.

Ohhh, glamourgirl...let me share what I have experienced with you...
when I was looking deperately for love all I found was people that would not have given me a quality relationship...
when I stopped all the foolishness by looking for friends...wow, love came my way!
Now, I cannot say that 'cowboy' and I do not have our issues for we are not perfect but all in all it is the best thing that has happened for both of us...and neither one of us was looking for another marriage.
So, hang in there...I would suggest looking for a gentlemen you believe would make a good friend for even a love relationship it will only last if based on friendship not lust! EEK! Ohhh, my, did I say that word...Blush

Hi As if..

Thanks for the birthday wish... My relationship was great (or so I thought) for 2 years. I found out that he was cheating on me with and thats when the relationship went down hill. When i saw him for the first time I knew that I loved him. It was love at first sight. When I found out he was cheating on me it killed me and it made me go into a really bad depression. Till this day we've never made our relationship work because of the lies and the trust factor. I've stopped looking for that special person because I know when the time comes for me to love and be loved it will just happen.

Coverlaugh i was with my highschool boyfriend for 7 years. we were friends first and i think that helped build a good foundation. even though he changed after 5 years or so and became a bitter asshole (pardon my choice of words) adusing rapist drunk, we staill had those good years before that. i really do think friendships should come first!

as much as i would love to find love, im not looking for that right now. i am looking to find some cute guys to date and make friends with and i'll see what happens from there.
