This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

What about my cats genital herpes? You didnt specifically ban that one. If nothing else, I believe this would fall under the jurisdiction of a "miscellaneous matter".

I'm off to Target in a few. I have an hour drive each direction so I don't get there too often. Any last minutes deals I need to look for?

Oh, can I do more than Pepsi gift card per order of if I want 10 packs (2 gift cards) do I need to pay for 5 and then buy then next 5?

(Also a WalMart, Shopko, Staples, Kmart, Best Buy, and Kohls in town if there is anything I need to know. Scanned the deals talk and hot deals and haven't found anything earth shaking so far.)
YMMV on the store, but you should be able to do more than one Pepsi deal in an order if they haven't had the update.

Kohl's, if you have a Kohl's charge, it's the last day of the 10%, 20% or 30% sale. You should have gotten a flyer in the mail with your percent off. If not, you can get one at the registers.

Hi all,
This is not Target related, but I wanted to ask for your help in making up a gift for my son in law.
My son in law was diagnosed with myelod leukemia in Jan. and since they found it so late, his only chance was a bone marrow transplant. I'm trying to make up a "hosptial bag" for him to take... So far I have the following:

New housecoat
Slip on Sandals (won't wear slippers)
Razor
Shaving Gel
Hand Sanitizer (his greatest fear is getting an infection in the hosptial)
soap
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
New Jockey boxer shorts
no shampoo - he has already shaved his head since he knew he would lose it from the chemo
deodorant
bodywash
nail file - he's a fanatic about having his nails neat

ISmilie
You are an awesome MIL!!! Best of luck to your SIL through all of this!

Crossword puzzle books, or sudoko (sp?)?
Journel & pens

wave Hey....been a little under the weather.

Long story....my hubby was trying to do something nice for my b-day in January and got me a gift certificate to a spa. (which was BEAUTIFUL). Well, I had a mani and pedi and a FACIAL. I LOVED it....but something in the facial did NOT love me.

I woke up the next day looking like the ELEPHANT man...my face was all swollen and my hubby says he could "blindfold me with dental floss". Rofl2 HE felt so bad...he just kept saying "I was trying to do something nice...and look what happened". So anyhow, the next day I'm in Urgent CAre with an IV of Benadryl, etc. and now am on steroids. Face is still puffy and itchy....and if it doesn't get any better soon I'm sure I'll be back.

So...that's what I've been up to. Sounds like fun huh? So, I'm still around just a little bit in a Benadryl-steroid-induced haze....LMAO

OMG!!! That totally sucks (as you already know this)!! I'm so sorry it turned out that way. I wonder what was in it that you had the allergic reaction to?

I'm glad you're feeling somewhat better though. I hope the rest goes away soon! hug

Are you allergic to nuts? Some of the scrubs have almond and walnut in them. I'm allergic and always make them dig out the citrus ones.

Thanks for all the concern. Grouphug I really DON't know what it was that made me look so hideous and feel like crapola. They used so many different products that there is NO way of knowing. I'm not allergic to nuts, I know I have sensitive skin....but this is ridiculous. Just suffice it to say that I won't be doing another facial any time soon or EVER for that matter. We did get our $ back for it though.
