I set mine up in my garage for the whole summer, then just put out the sign and open the door when I'm in the mood.....tons of CVS stuff like JoKnee and tons of Target.....live in a poor rural area, so do cheap. Had so much this year that I just sold everything for $1 last week-end to get down to more manageable levels and made about $250......then had so much fun giving stuff away that I decided to pretty much keep the $1 thing going. Had to hide the Durex cuz my 2 10 year old granddaughters help me.....really didn't wanna go there with them quite yetshake head ! (Although, and I hope this doesn't offend anyone and IS OT, girls their age are already getting their periodsEEK! . Think it's all the hormones in food?)
nod on the hormones in food thing. DH & I both come from families of late bloomers. DD heart's milk and will drink 1/2 to 3/4's of a gallon a day if we let her. We have had regular milk, chicken & beef until 2 years ago. She is taller than us and she is only 13 and I am not short by any means, average height 5'7". She started at 11 poor thing. I was nearly 17.

I wish I lived closer. I have over 65 boxes with 32 more bogo's to use yet.

I totally agree with the hormones in the food. You can tell just by looking at the younger girls these days. Waaaayy more developed, at much younger ages.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love/hate Target? Not to jinx myself, but had some lovely runs lately. I'm at over $500 in GC's, with plenty of Pantene and P10 still in my future.

I have a couple I received in a trade. Last night I used the $3 off $10 supersoaker purchase. I only bought a $4.99 supersoaker and I don't *think* it beeped. I'm sorry I can't be more positive but the girl and I were chatting away and she was k1'ing fast. But I did try to notice and I don't remember seeing it beep. It is at the bottom of the receipt as $3 TQ. Please post your results if you try any others. I don't think I'll be trying any others til next week after I'm done with the p10, pantene and razor deals but if I do, I'll let you know!
thanks for replying ncmommy! i will keep you all updated on how this goes, but probably won't get to it till next week either! LMAO entirely too much pantene and p10 to do tomorrow and Saturday my DH wants me to stay home and finish building the deck with him. GRRR!

Garage Sale:

I marked things super cheap. I know how garage salers are, being one of them. lol
I had TONS of things I bought from CVS; lots of makeup I marked at $1, .50 or .25
Sold almost all of my nail polishes for .50
Pantene only $1 a bottle. Should probably have done $1.50. I sold over $100 in just a few hours.
Durex is NOT a hot seller, even at .25/box. lol Lots of prudes out there laugh out loud
Perfect 10 for only $3 a box and was able to sell only about 15 at that price.
All of the things I bought in the trial section, for .25 (advil pm, pantene hairsprays etc).

Make sure to have lots of $1's $5's and $10's and bags. I had loads of bags but ran out after a few hours.

I'd love to hear about other people's experiences!

We had a yard sale about a month ago and we made $850. I charged $1 for shampoos, body washes and make up. $3 for razors, wisps and glade oil candle holder sets. $5 for glucose meters and $.25 for trial/travel sizes. We will have another yard sale in July or August. I shop at T and CVS by the way!Smilie

True my daughter drinks tons of milk and was taller than me by age eleven. However, I started my time stuff at the age of 7 1/2 to 8 (not joking, I remember being in fifth grade and the film and discussion they make you watch, the girls laughing and giggling about the few that had recently started and I already had 2 years before), and my daughter didn't start until about eleven! I didn't even understand what was happening to me, and I was so embarrassed spending the night at my friends house and having to borrow pads from her mother at like age eight. Her mother saying she can't be, and my friend saying yes mom she is! I remember not saying a word about this to anyone in class and feeling very embarrassed that day in class, as I had already experienced the nightmare and was to ashamed to tell anyone. I didn't even tell my mother right away, as I was a dumb kid who didn't know better! My older sister narked me out finally, when my mom's pads started disappearing, and my older sister was getting blamed. What was really strange is my sister did not start until she was almost 17, she was lucky if you ask me!

So about peelie "borrowing", so far nobody has said anything to me about taking peelies. Got one pointed look at my cart (where the peelies were) and asked if I needed any "help" but that's about it (hey, several of them had fallen off the boxes, I figured it was fair game, right??). Note to self: bring a tote bag to cover next time.
Anyway, I have this vague plan to pretend I am OCD if the rent a cop starts hassling me. laugh out loud Although I need to do some research, don't know much about OCD beyond watching Monk.

Well, not these 2 items yet because they are still paying me to buy them. I was getting bored with all the P&G products in the last month. I had bought a ton of q's and still have a bunch to use yet. Those, I'm getting bored with. laugh out loud

I have to use some today to shop for my brother. He's younger than me, little baby, recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, works 3 jobs and some money issues. Decided to do a run today for him even though I was planning on boycotting target today.

Re $700-I had $150 left over from the previous pantene deal, the rest is from recent P10/Pantene. I have 6 more P10 left. Going to a store that had no inventory the other day so unlikely they will today. But a lot of jedis and I need to do some lysol bogos and others--
