We just finished Making a Murderer...it wasnt bad.
What else is really good right now? I'm eyeing The Expanse, but not sure my wife would be able to handle it.

That's a good one, but I can't watch it around the kids. And some jackass is usually gaming all night somewhere between my house and the DSL switch down the road which means I can't stream anything in the evening when the kids are in bed.

Are you only interested in this season shows? If not, I'd recommend The 100 and Continuum as 2 recent sci-fi based shows. The 100 is still ongoing, but you will want to watch the first 2 seasons first.
Continuum just wrapped up this fall, but a shame that more people don't know about it - great show.
It's a hilarious take on a teacher working in the inner city.
Kind of like the Jack Reacher novels where I haven't been able to make myself watch the movie where they picked Tom Cruise of all people to play Reacher. I like Cruise as an actor for the most part but he is about the exact opposite of what Reacher is in the books. I will watch it one of these days but unless I can separate the movie from the book series in my head I know it will be a disappointment.
