Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.

All items on CowBoom's site is OOS. All items are being consolidated to BBO. Currently the sign in system on CowBoom is not working. If you have any issues contact CowBoom directly here [cowboom.com].

Cowboom has been owned by Best Buy for years and maybe always. I don't see to many changes coming, probably just a rebranding for restructuring or marketing purpose.

Well since its gone. Here's a big change there will be no more daily price fck ups by the staff.

Everyday when inventory was updated there were price mistakes up the ass. Look at my signature for a few.

EVERYDAY laptops consoles tabs everything there were items at 25-40% of there normal cost. They would get swept up by I and some other cow boom elites. But now there is nothing

This new really sucks and was way too unexpected. Funny, some of their promo codes are still valid till 3/3.

Such a sad day..

I have also been wondering who were the others that snatched up all good deals at midnight...

Ex. Apple watch 42mm $179, 4 pages gone in less than a minute.

They must have some custom script software helping them snatch and check out.

I think I broke Cowboom, like literally BOOM, when I ordered the last of the Dell UltraSharp U2715H 27in IPS LED HD Monitor last night. Sorry guys, it was me!!! I'm not only a homewrecker, but also a sitewrecker as well.

What a bummer. News like this is never good. Kiss those awesome coupon codes and blowout prices goodbye.

At least they went out with a bang for me: I managed to grab one of those $229 42mm Stainless Steel Apple Watches from them a few weeks ago. That was a killer deal. I think the first deal I got from them was a $59 PS3 Beatles Rock Band set. That was also a great deal. (I still have it, never opened.)

I am not aMOOsed by this news at all. RIP Cowboom. To the company and their great deals.

Best deal I got from Cowboom is Samsung Galaxy Note 2012 for $5 when same condition ones sell for over $300 on eBay! Best thing about Cowboom is that they honor the price mistake. They don't cancel price-mistake orders.

After stepping away from the computer and taking a moment to think, I realized that all hope may not be lost. At least for the for the auctions and inventory that has heavier or moderate wear anyway. Many of my shipments and payments for auctions were coded as "DealTree". DealTree used to be the Best Buy account for eBay auctions before they switched over to Cowboom. If DealTree (or any name under Best Buy) returns to eBay for auctions (or Buy It Nows) on the stock they aren't willing to sell directly through the Best Buy Outlet site, there's still a sliver of hope to snag a few good deals. I've noticed recently that Best Buy has begun selling tons of open-box inventory on eBay so I think this is reasonable prediction as Best Buy ramps up their presence there.

It always said a Best Buy Brand in their logo as far as I can remember. This just seems to consolidate it into one website rather than having 2 entities. I always just used Cowboom to browse open box items. Best Buy Outlet was good if you were trying to find items in store.
