Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.

I always felt like I know this was too good of a thing to always last. Over the years I've ordered probably a hundred things using Cowboom. You could pretty much go on Cowboom any given day and score a pretty big deal on an auction item. I've personally never would've been able to get so many electronics without Cowboom because the prices were so good. I never worried about returns and if the condition if something was wrong you returned it or got a partial credit. It was easy as a cow-pie.

I've held on to one Cowboom Cow just for memories sake. Glad I have it to remember all the good times.

All I can say is that things will always come and go and hopefully in the future something comparable will emerge. I will probably head to AWDs for greener pastures, but it is not the same.

Sad day indeed. But I knew this day was coming. Best Buy also had another affiliate site called https://bestbuy.dtdeals.com/auction/index.cfm (I would always just google best buy auctions). Had very similar deals. It would be interesting I would be bidding on auctions on the bestbuyauctions site and cowboom for exact same items. And bestbuy auctions has the same message about switching to Best Buy Outlets. A patient and shrewd buyer could get some great deals. I just missed out on Surface 3 Pro I5 with 256 gb for 422 bucks plust tax and 9.99 shipping ( fair condition no ac adapter or stylus). Pretty good deal. But I got a HP envy x2 for $244 plus tax (with keyboard and ac adapter). I'll be searching all over for deal like that. Gazelle on Ebay sometimes has them with a keyboard for 580 but Best Buy Outlet is terrible. There are now less chances for great deals. Pour some out for our homies.

Well at least we'll be able to apply best buy gift cards to their outlet deals.. Hopefully prices are on par as cowbooms.....

I just got the email saying its switching to bb outlet and clicked the link. Sure enough it's now Bestbuy site. So yes. The great prices are over. I too bought hundreds of things the last idk 8 yrs. when it was dealtree I believe. Bb outlet prices suck for pre owned. I too am sad. I won't even get my hopes up thinking maybe be will keep prices lower. BUTTTTT, on the other hand. They WILL NOT sell a lot of stuff due to the prices on bb outlet being insulting. Maybe they will go back to the giving it away motto. Probably not. Lol
