Just a heads up that CowBoom [cowboom.com] is no more and it will now be Best Buy Outlet.

I'm extremely sad about this Frown In all my years of being a SD member, Cowboom is the store that BY FAR provided the highest amount of blazing hot deals for me. I never got why people hated the site with a passion, the deals you could frequently get from there were unbelievable, you just had to know your way around the site. Never had a problem with any of the preowned products, too.

Thankfully I just got some really great deals from Cowboom. But I hate the layout of the best buy site and that alone will more than likely keep me from buying from them. GGS Cowboom.... GGS.

A part of me is happy that this is gone, so all we get to do is hear about bragadocious purchases from Cowboom "experts"... but a part of me is sad because most legitimate buyers will have one less place to shop from.

This is the worst news of 2016 by far. This sucks. I highly doubt BB outlet will give the same deals. I just bought something last night. "Now cracks a noble heart. Good-night, sweet prince; And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest".

All you hardcore SDers know. This is like when Microsoft's Bing cashback went under. At one point in time they were giving 20%+ cashback at all the major retailers. I remember that sucked the life out of many SDers. I'd put this up with that.

I would argue that cowboom has a better aura on the the internet than the bestbuy brand, which I associate with trying to rip me off.
